Amandine Monnier

Ciao fellow TripMates! My name is Amandine, a typical French name that means "her that has to be loved" in Latin 😊. I am Mediterranean, 50% French and 50% Tunisian, but my heart is 100% Italian 🇮🇹♥. Traveling is my oxygen. I've been going on solo trips for 5 years now but I also enjoy doing it with friends who share the same vision as me. As an anthropologist and travel designer, I find it essential to be immersed in the local cultures and to get to know the people who live in the places you're discovering. That's why I prefer taking it slow when I travel, so I can have time to fully learn, enjoy the moment, then create unique and authentic itineraries for other travelers. When I am not abroad, I cook, style food and take pictures of my creations. The truth is, I do it too when I travel and post it on my Instagram. I also love reading, spending time with my niece and nephews 🥰, listening and dancing to Latin music especially reggaetón, drinking wine, and going for a walk in the vineyards 🍇. Last thing about me: I am neurodivergent, with a High Intellectual Potential + High Sensitivity. So my superpower is to be able to connect with strangers easily 😊.
