JOEL BAGUE REXACH

My name is Joel and I'm a 32 year-old guy from Spain. I quit my office job in 2019 to follow my dream of traveling around the world with no return ticket. I hitchhiked during 9 months around South East Asia, a trip that taught me so much stuff about myself. Since that moment I realised that travel is a powerful tool to get to know yourself and to transform your life. I lived and travel a few months in Australia and New Zealand before returning home for the pandemic. After a year of self-reflection and thinking about what I really wanted to do as a living, I embarked myself in the adventure of my lifetime: the Atlantic crossing by sailing boat. After a month we reached the coast of Grenada, a small caribbean country. Once in Panamá I started traveling with my bicycle with the aim to get to know different cultures and to cross all South America and reach the end of the world, Ushuaia. My dream is to become a trip leader and show people my way of traveling: adventurous, sustainable and always seeking a close contact with local people to be immersed in the new culture. Tourist spots don't interest me that much. I am a traveler and I'd rather spend time getting to know local culture
