My trips tend to focus on food and alcoholic beverages of the non-touristic kind. Everyday food and drink of the locals. I eschew "tourist traps" and hyped up media restaurants. We shall focus on local culture and appreciate history in their peoples and their buildings by encouraging engagement with ordinary residents of each town/city we visit. I believe this is the true essence of travel.
