The Dolomites are renowned for their breathtaking and distinctive landscapes. Hiking through these mountains allows you to immerse yourself in a world of towering peaks, dramatic cliffs, lush valleys, pristine lakes, and charming alpine meadows. On this trip, we will hike in Dolomite's most famous mountains such as Tre Cime, Lake Sorapis, Giau Pass, and Cadini di Misurina and not only that, but we will also take unforgettable sightseeing flight with a panoramic view of the beautiful Dolomites from a Helicopter! A truly perfect trip for hikers, photographers, and nature lovers!
About me: My name is Windy, I am naturally adventurous and I love adrenaline activities. I already organized several hiking trips on JoinMyTrip and it was always fun! Go to my profile for more various hiking & adventurous trips🪂 I expect TripMates to be adventurous and have done long hiking before. Physical fitness is required to join this trip. Route & time might be changed/ adjusted according to circumstances. This trip includes all transportation during your stay and pick-up & drop-off from the nearest station: Tarvisio and Gemona can be arranged.
Accommodation: Depending on the number of TripMates, our accommodation will be either a hotel or an apartment, Shared room. If you prefer a private room, please let me know, and I will try my best to arrange it for a higher price. General rules: Non-smoking accommodation. Tarvisio
Tag 1
We will meet up at the point of Pick up: Gemona at 08:30 or Tarvisio at 10:20 in the morning. Get to know each other while we head to our first Dolomites mountain Village, Sappada. Tarvisio-Sappada takes around 2,5-hour drive. 🔰Do let me know if you need to find a train or bus connection to Tarvisio or Gemona, as they often do not sell the ticket online but directly from the train staff!

Sappada
Tag 1-2
In Sappada we will do a small hike, see the waterfalls, and explore the village. Sappada's landscape is characterized by the typical mountain dwellings in dark wood and in summer they are decorated with colorful flowers, making the atmosphere in this country almost fairytale-like. The next day we will wake up early around 6-7 morning, have breakfast, and start hiking.

Lake Sorapis
Tag 2-3
The first few kilometers of the hike you walk in a forest with tall trees on a fairly flat path, then it will start to be fairly steep but you will be treated to beautiful views along the way. Level: Medium Total time: 2-3 hours Have proper food and rest at night to prepare for the next day's hike.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Tag 3-4
The Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike is one of the Dolomites’ iconic hikes. Three massive rocky prominences rise up from the rolling scenery of the Dolomites, surrounded by amazing views. Wake up time 06-07 morning to avoid crowded and hot sun. Level: Medium Total time: 3-4 hours Have proper food and rest at night to prepare for the next day's hike.

Giau Pass
Tag 4-5
Three mountain huts, breathtaking 360° alpine panoramas, an open-air war museum, and an amazing day out among some of the best scenery in the Italian Dolomites. Guaranteed you will fall in love with the view! Wake up time 06-07 morning to avoid crowded and hot sun. Level: Medium Total time: 3-4 hours

Val Gardena
Tag 5-6
Today you can wake up a bit later! 😉 We will do a helicopter tour and sightseeing flight and see the Dolomites from above. After the flight, we can visit many interesting places nearby, relax, eat, and hike again if we want (only easy and short hike). Helicopter flight is subject to weather, so it can be moved to another time or date (during our trip). This activity is included in the trip price.

Tarvisio
Tag 6
The next day we will have breakfast together and drive back to Tarviso and Gemona, to drop off tripmates and say goodbye. Thanks for an amazing time, hopefully, we will see each other on another trip! Around 3-4 hours drive. We will reach drop-off places late afternoon. Please book your train/bus accordingly.
