Are you ready to have an unforgettable hike? Join my hiking trip and let the adventure begin. On this trip, we will hike crossing borders in 3 different countries, so they take the meaning literally, cross-country hiking. Mainly we will discover the beautiful Friuli and Julian Alps in Slovenia, a region that is full of national parks and surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and lakes. An ideal destination for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and be seduced by delicious flavors. Not only you will visit some mesmerizing mountains, lakes, and waterfalls, but we will also have a chance to taste the delicious local dishes 🍕🥩 Hiking in winter is fun! We get to see the top of the that are covered with snow, all choosen routes are safe, you just need to have waterproof shoes and winter Jacket. I expect TripMates to be adventurous and have done long hiking before. Physical fitness is required to join this trip. Route & time might be changed/ adjusted according to circumstances. This trip includes transportation during your stay and pick-up & drop-off from the nearest station: Villach (Austria) / Gemona (Italy) can be arranged. Not included: Food, Fuel €40/pax, and other personal expenses.

Details about the accommodation: The hotel will be in Gemona, with a delicious breakfast included. Each day after our activity, we return to the hotel. Shared room with other TripMates, max 2 people in the room, men and women will have a separate room. Villach
Tag 1
First day: Pickup tripmates Gemona, Italy 09:00 and Villach, Austria until 11:00 We can do a small walk around the city before we head down, passing the Austrian-Italian border. We will get to know each other while enjoying the Alps view.

Lago del Predil
Tag 1
After lunch, we can start our small hike to warm up in Predil lake. We will hike and enjoy the nature, the water of the lake is clear and transparent, of a green-blue color, but it is very cold, a fact that does not prevent the intrepid from taking a nice dip. In the middle of its waters, a characteristic islet emerges, which paints an enchanted landscape.

Kreuzleithohe Punta di Giramondo

2nd day: Today we will do our hike on a mountain lake! Lake Bordaglia, a lake above the mountain along the hike you will encounter rare species of flora such as the alpine pasqueflower then continue the hike to Austrian Border Kreuzleithohe Punta di Giramondo Hiking duration: 5-6 hours Level: Intermediate

Bovec
Tag 2-3
3rd day: today we will go to the Slovenian side, and visit the highlights nearby. After lunch, we will go Zipline. This zipline is located above Bovec, in the Krnica valley, between two mountains reaching over 2000 meters high: Mt. Kanin and Mt. Rombon. It's one of the biggest zipline parks in central Europe and is by far the biggest in Slovenia. They will provide all gears Price approx €70/person

Velika Baba
Tag 3-4
Today is more relax, in the morning we can take a short walk around the neighbourhood, paly in the snow, go iceskating and if the ski track is already open we can also go skiing (IF all participants wants another hike then we can also go hiking)

Venzone
Tag 4-5
Last day: We will visit one of the most beautiful villages in northern Italy. Since 1965 Venzone has been declared a National Monument as the only fortified village of the Region in the fourteenth century and then one of the most extraordinary examples of architectural and artistic restoration.

Lago di Cavazzo
Tag 5
Before the trip finishes, we will do a small walk and lucnh around the lake of cavazzo enjoy our last moment together Please book a train that leaves after 14:00 - The trip is finish at Maximum 15:00 Drop back to Gemona shortly after
