Join me to explore this beautiful gem of Southern Italy: Puglia, also named as the "Heel of the Boot" as Italian peninsula has got a typical boot shape. We will enjoy beautiful sea 🌊 and lovely beaches 🏖where to relax, delicious cuisine🍝, the prehistoric cone shaped houses "Trulli" of Alberobello and the vibrant night life that Puglia has to offer! We will visit the main city Bari, Alberobello with its "Trulli" and then we will enjoy the beautiful seaside cities of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli.

My name is Mara and I am an artist based in London but I am originally from Puglia and I would love to share my favourite places where I always come back on holiday, my culture and traditions with you. I would like to meet other like minded tripmates, friendly, genuine people who respect other people in the group and the environment, love exploring and genuinely have a great time.

We will stay in a B&B or in apartments Airbnb in shared twin rooms and private bathroom (single room option available upon request at an extra fee). All accommodation will be close to the city centre, well connected with public transport, with shops and amenities nearby. Breakfast will be included in the fee.

Bari

Tag 1-3

We will visit the main city of the region with its vibrant streets and enjoying all gastronomic specialities. We will visit the old city with its landmarks and the famous street of "pasta" where you can see how the "nonne" make the typical pasta "orecchiette".

Alberobello

Tag 3

We will visit the "Trulli", Unesco Heritage site. The "Trulli" are traditional Apulian dry stone huts with conical roofs built in the prehistoric time. These unique houses are a must see in your trip to Puglia.

Monopoli

Tag 3-4

We will go to one of the most beautiful seaside places where we will enjoy the crystal water of its sea, the vibrant restaurants and bars in the Old city and port, the castle. Monopoli is also popular for its night life and we will go to party to one of its cool clubs on the beach.

Polignano a Mare

Tag 4-5

We will go to this gem of the Adriatic sea, you will fall in love with this beautiful village and its balconies in the sea! We will have a boat trip around the marine caves and dive into the crystal water! We will spend the last night of this trip celebrating before coming back to Bari the morning after and say goodbye.
