This is a coworking/coliving offer and not an organised trip. Wake up to the gentle sound of flowing water and the fresh scent of the forest. Spend your days exploring scenic hiking trails, fishing or or paddling in the many surrounding scenic lakes. For those seeking adventure, endless possibilities await: kayaking, wildwater rafting (1.5 hrs away) or simply cozy evenings by the campfire under the Nordic starry sky. You can also spend your workation here – the Wifi is very good. Or you just come to relax and enjoy the abundance of activities that the region has to offer: from shopping in Lillehammer, cultural activities or sports both indoors and outdoors.
ABOUT ME: Hi, I am Dagmar from Germany and I am an absolute fan of Norway! A nature and outdoor enthusiast, I love to spend as much time there as possible - as it offers so much in every season. This offer is a 6-day offer and I will be staying in the cabin at that time as well, so I can be of help regarding anything you might need and give you tips.
ACCOMMODATION DETAILS: You will live in a cozy and quiet wooden cabin on a mountain and in the middle of nature, but and at the same time not too far away from supermarkets (20 min. down the mountain). The cabin has 3 bedrooms for a maximum of 7 people: - 1 with a double bed (1.6m x 2m) - 1 with a double bed (1.4m x 2m) - 1 with bunk bed (1.4m x 2m bottom and 80 x 2m top) The cabin has 2 bathrooms to share (with shower and toilet) and a washing machine. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is a large, integrated living and dining room and a fireside. If you would like to work, you can either use the large dining table or the cozy sofa area. A small table can also be set up in your room upon request.

Arrival on the mountain app. 800m above sea level, only 20min. by car/bus from Lillehammer. Make yourself comfortable in this cozy cabin and get to know your fellow coliving mates. Calm down, relax and enjoy the smell of wood and the silence.

Sjusjøen
Tag 2-3
Go hiking, if you like, from Nordseter to Sjusjoen, app. 3 hours medium-level walking. Go past beautiful lakes and enjoy the scenic view. Pay a visit to lake Sjusjoen and enjoy a refreshing bath in the lake. Alternatively, take a MTB or gravel bike which you can rent near the cabin in Nordseter Fjellstue, and explore the area.

Lillehammer

Enjoy the relaxing and also sporting atmosphere and spirit in the Olympic city of Lillehammer, host of the 1994 Olympic Winter Games. Here you will find all shopping opportunities, from the main street (Storgata) to large shopping center Strandtorget. Everything can easily be reached by bus from the cabin. Or go to Lake Mjosa beach and just relax in the sun or enjoy a dip in the lake. Check out visitlillehammer.com: Lillehammer has its own place in the heart of many sports enthusiasts, thanks to the 1994 Winter Olympics, one of Norway's biggest and most successful sporting events. Lillehammer rewards great recognition both as sports and cultural city. In 2017, the city was named UNESCO City of Literature, and each year you can experience the Norwegian Literature Festival. In the charming and historic buildings of Lillehammer there is a modern shopping district with several specialty shops and a great selection of everything from cozy cafes to quality restaurants. The city has many museums and cultural centers, including Maihaugen, Norwegian Olympic Museum, Bjerkebæk - Sigrid Undset's home and Lillehammer Art Museum. And you should not miss a ride with Skibladner, the wheelbarrow who has shipped passengers, mail and goods between the cities around Mjøsa since 1856. Outside the center, both young and old can play in Hunderfossen Theme Park, Kids´s Farm Hunderfossen, Lilleputthammer Miniature Town or in Hafjell with downhill cycling in the summer.

Jotunheimen

From Lillehammer, it is app. 2.5-3.5 hrs. to the national parks, such as Jotunheimen, Dovrefjell and Rondane. Make sure you visit these majestic parks and endulge in the beautiful and scenic nature. For example, go on the famous hiking tour of Besseggen ridge in Jotunheimen National Park. Here's how: - Get up early to go (6:30am) to Gjendesheim parking lot - Take a boat to Memurubu (app. 20 min.) - Hike back to Gjendesheim – 3-4 hrs.

Tag 5-6
Back in Nordseter, you have multiple options: - Hire a MTB (Nordseter Fjellstue) - Hire a cayak (Nordseter Fjellstue) - Go hiking (e.g. follow the signs "Nordseter Rundt", the main hiking trail for app. 3 hours) - Enjoy a relax session (just ask me - there a multiple options!!)
