Visitors to Accra may find it difficult to get out of the city and discover Ghana's famed natural beauty, especially if they don't have long to spend in Ghana. About me! My name is Kingsley and I am the Owner of Biovell Company. I'll be your Facilitator, Driver, hiking partner, motivator, debating, and sing-along buddy adventure wingman, plus hopefully a good friend during and after the trip. I'm originally from Accra Ghana. I have spent several years living in Ghana and South Africa and some months in Cote D’Ivoire. Traveling all over the country got me to know some local culture, and experience the slow pace of life. I'm also a qualified Tour guide by experience, with an emphasis on tours. 📍 What’s the plan? The trip will start from Accra, where we will spend 5 days before moving towards the western. This tour provides an opportunity to do just that, with a walking safari and rock climbing experience. Mole is one of seven National Parks in Ghana. The other wildlife estates include six Resource Reserves, two wildlife sanctuaries, one Strict Nature Reserve, and five Ramsar sites, managed by the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission of Ghana. The Park’s mission is to sustainably manage the wildlife resources of Mole National Park, increase revenue, and generate economic activities around the Park with a view to contribute towards local socio-economic development. Effective law enforcement and protection of the Park are ensured through the establishment of the range system, and collaboration with fringe communities. Today, Mole National Park is inscribed on UNESCO’s Tentative List of World Heritage Properties in 2000 and is working and striving to achieve World Heritage Site status soon. The Park is accessible by road. It also has an airstrip, which is out of use. What's included in the price: - Local transportation (Car rental) - Entrance fees to attractions - Fuel Charge - 24hr Ongoing Support - Hotel pick-up and drop-off within Accra - Cost of Activities in Itinerary - Entry/Admission What's not included? - International Airfare - Sightseeing not listed in the itinerary Accommodation — We will stay at Parks hotel which is included in the pricing. Upgrades for private rooms or bungalows are not included in the pricing. Food is included in the pricing for 3 Breakfasts and 3 dinners. Lunch is not included and will be spontaneous at a roadside attraction or some snacks in the car. The Restaurants we visit are preparing local delicacies and are excellent value for money. Transport - Vehicle rental is included in the pricing. A minibus equipped with all amenities will be provided for the trip and it’s included in the cost. Security - Security is of utmost importance at Mole National Park. Both human and animal life is greatly valued and protected through armed tour guiding and staff patrols. So, are you in? Let me know if you have any questions! I am happy to answer them or have a short call with you to know more details!

Welcome to Mole National Park. The Park has the most viable elephant population in Ghana, and as such, is a hotspot for elephant conservation. Larabanga Ancient Mosque

Tag 3
The Larabanga Mosque is built in the Sudanese architectural style in the village of Larabanga, Ghana. It is the oldest mosque in the country and one of the oldest in West Africa. The Larabanga Mosque and has been referred to as the "Mecca of West Africa". Originally founded in 1421, it has undergone restoration several times since. The World Monuments Fund (WMF) lists it as one of the 100 Most Endangered Sites. The restoration works have revived the knowledge of mud-plaster maintenance. The mosque has an old Quran, believed by the locals to have been given as a gift from heaven in 1650 to Yidan Barimah Bramah, the Imam at the time, as a result of his prayers. The mosque, built with mud and reeds, has two tall towers in a pyramidal shape, one for the mihrab which faces towards Mecca forming the facade on the east, and the other as a minaret in the northeast corner. These are bolstered by twelve bulbous-shaped structures, which are fitted with timber elements.
