Experience World Class Rides

Calling all coaster and theme park enthusiasts! Lets head off to sunny California for an epic US coaster roadtrip! We will be stopping at all the major theme parks in the state. We will start off in cultural San Francisco, before driving down the beautiful Pacific Highway to vibrant LA. Then finally heading down to chiled San Diego. The 8 exciting parks we will be experiencing are: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom California's Great America Six Flags Magic Mountain Universal Studios Hollywood Disneyland Disney California Adventure Knott's Berry Farm Seaworld San Diego The trip has been planned for 4 people in mind including myself to allow for the most enjoyable experience. Transport will be via a hire car (large SUV) for added comfort! The group will meet in San Francisco where the trip starts, and conclude in San Diego. I would recommend flying into San Francisco as the trip will start from a hotel near to the airport. Transport is provided to LAX in Los Angeles for any return flights the group may need. Depending on the country you are travelling from you may require an ESTA in order to enter the United States. Please make sure you have this prior to travel. Please let me know if you are unsure and I will assist you the best I can!

My name's Michael and I'm an avid Roller Coaster and Theme Park Enthusiast! I've loved them ever since I was young and I love travelling the world to experience as many as possible. I've currently ridden over 600 rollercoasters and been to 93 different theme parks in 18 countries! I've started taking new people to experience them, as half the fun is experiencing them with others! I'm based in the UK, but I've led multiple small group trips to the US to experience some of the worlds best parks and coasters, all to raving reviews. I'm easy going and very relaxed and my aim is to provide an amazing experience for all. I can also provide assistance in regards to flight/airport recommendations and everything you'll need for the trip. Any questions please feel free to ask! It goes without saying that you will be riding rollercoasters on this trip, so a certain level of comfortability with them is required. With a park trip each day, it will be tiring with lots of travel and walking involved. As well as standing in queues. But this gives a great opportunity to chat with the group. The aim of the trip however is for everyone to have fun and create lifetime memories. It will be tiring, but extremely rewarding. I have done many of these types of trips before with each one being more rewarding than the last, but it is not for the feint of heart!

We will be staying in four different hotels which will be confirmed closer to the time. Price quoted is for shared rooms, but individual rooms are available for a supplement fee if you prefer (around £650), just let me know which you would prefer when booking and I will do my best to accommodate. Breakfast will also be included at all of the hotels.

San Francisco

Tag 1-2

Day 1: This is the day to meet the group and for people to arrive. I will be picking up the hire car from San Francisco Airport in preparation for us to all meet at the first hotel. We will then get to know each other over a few drinks before the adventure begins the next morning!

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Tag 2-3

Day 2: We will be going to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for the day We will travel to the park for opening, ready to experience the parks 10 rollercoasters amd other attractions including the standouts: Joker, Medusa and Superman Ultimate Flight. After park close we will head back to the hotel for some much needed rest after our first park.

California's Great America

Tag 3-4

Day 3: We will be going to California's Great America for the day. We will travel to the park for opening and spend the day there. This park is scheduled to permanently close at the end of 2026 so this is a great opportunity to experience it. The park is home to 9 rollercoasters including the standouts of Railblazer, Goldstriker and Flight Deck. After park close we will head back to the hotel for some much needed rest after our 2nd park of the trip.

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Tag 4-6

Day 4: We will be traveling down the Pacific Highway and visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain We will leave the hotel early in the morning and leave San Francisco behind us as we travel down the Pacific Highway towards Los Angeles. We will have at least half a day at Six Flags Magic Mountain which is home to a record breaking 19 rollercoasters, which is the most of any park in the world. The standouts here being Twisted Colossus, X2 and Tatsu. After park close we will head to the 2nd hotel of the trip which is nearby. Day 5: We will then have another day in Six Flags Magic Mountain due to just how many rides there are there! After park close we will head back to hotel for some much needed rest.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Tag 6-7

Day 6: We will be going to Univeral Studios Hollywood We will leave the hotel early and make our way to Univsal Studios, only home to 2, soon to be 3 rollercoasters. But Universal is full of so many fantastic experiences, it more than makes up for it. The Revenge of the Mummy and the soon to open Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift are the standouts here. After park close we will head to our 3rd hotel of the trip for a good night's sleep.

Disneyland Park

Tag 7-9

Day 7: We will be going to Disneyland We will leave the hotel early to visit the original disneyland park for opening, full of charm and history. Home to Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Matterhorn Bobsleds. As well as a vast array of Disney classic dark rides this is sure to be a day to remember. We will head back to the hotel after park close. Day 8: We will be going to Disney California Adventure, the 2nd Disney Park on site. Another day at Disney, but this time their other park, home to Incredicoaster and various other fantastic Disney attractions. After another action packed Disney day we will head back to the hotel.

Knott's Berry Farm

Tag 9-10

Day 9: We will be going to Knott's Berry Farm. Only a stones throw away from Disney is Knott's Berry farm, where we will be heading to next. Home to 9 rollercoasters and fantastic Californian charm. The standouts here are Ghostrider, Xcelerator and Hangtime. After park close we will head back to the hotel.

SeaWorld San Diego

Tag 10-11

Day 10: We will be going to Seaworld San Diego. We will leave the hotel early and head to Dan Diego to be at the park for opening. Seaworld is home to a number of amazing animal exhibits and shows as well as 5 rollercoasters including Manta, Emperor and Electric Eel. After park close we will head to our 4th and final hotel in San Diego. The following morning will be the end of the official trip where we will be saying goodbye to the group. I will be returning the hire car to LAX airport that next day, so can provide transport there for anyone returning home via that route. With a potential cheeky stop off back at one if the Los Angeles based parks again if the flight back is late evening. Please just let me know in advance if you plan to use this option.
