Let´s meet the Terceira island with local guides taking us around the island. Terceira is one of the 9 islands of Azores. The capital city os Terceira is Angra do Heroismo and it's historic center is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1983. Terceira island is welcoming , safe, accessible, with mild climate, full of legends, traditions and enviable gastronomic wealth. We will have: - cheese tasting - wine tasting

Hi, I am Sonia. I am portuguese and Portugal lover. I love to show my beautiful country to other people and other cultures. We have wonderful sites to see, rather than Lisboa and Porto. We have really good food and most people don't know about it. I hope you can join me and discover a bit more of Portugal.

The accommodation will be in a hotel, at Praia da Vitoria, Half board, and it will be in twin room with private bathrooms, with somebody else. The breakfast and dinner is also included in the price. Angra do Heroísmo

Tag 1-2

At the day of the arrival we will just care about the check in and get to know eachother. We will walk around the city and start to get into the mood of the island life. We will meet at the hotel, but if you want i can manage to book you a transfer from the airport to the hotel. Just let me now if you need it

Biscoitos

Tag 2-3

Today we will have a tour around the island in a 4x4 with lunch and drinks included. The trip is made comfortably in jeeps suitably equipped for the purpose and able to take you to places you did not even imagine existed. Routes on secondary roads, which are not part of the usual tourist itineraries, are favored. They are narrow, beaten paths and used mostly by farmers. They are lined either by blue hydrangeas( Hortenses), large trees or rough walls of basaltic stone, which cut the green pastures. They lead to breathtaking views. Take the time to stop along the way, step out of the jeep and take a closer look at all the magical nature that surrounds you. Adventure yourself through the interior of the Island, breathtaking views. Outdoor lunch (traditional food, Portuguese wine), continuation of the tour with visit to some hidden spots.

Gruta do Natal

Tag 3-4

Today we will hike for a bit and go on a tour do see the vulcanic caves. Gruta do Natal Mistérios Negros trail If Algar do Carvão is already open we will go into the cave with a lake inside with stalactites and stalagmites. It will be a 4 hours tour. So the rest of the day is to enjoy an relax

Monte Brasil

Tag 4-5

Today it will be a free day just to see what happens and what the group want. This day activity is not included in the final price Either can be to: Take a stroll in the historic city of Angra do Heroismo go on a hike, to visit Praia da Vitoria and enjoy the beach, to go whale whatching, To make a gastronomic tour or some other experience. Nothing is planned.

Tag 5

Today will be aour farewell day so we will have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy our remaining hours together and at the beautiful island of Terceira. The transfer is not included, but is can be managed. Just ask for it if you need it.
