Get ready for a wild and peaceful escape into the heart of Sweden’s nature 🌲✨ This trip takes you to the stunning region of Värmland, known for its endless forests, clear lakes, waterfalls, and quiet hiking trails. Together with my adventurous huskies, we’ll spend a full week exploring Sweden at a slow, outdoorsy pace. Hiking, swimming, paddling, and enjoying long summer days surrounded by nature. We’ll be a small group of 5 people including myself. 🌲 What to Expect ✅ Scenic hikes through Swedish wilderness ✅ Water adventures – try SUP boarding or kayaking on calm lakes ✅ Waterfalls & wildlife experiences ✅ Unique local experiences – optional ATV rental and an included visit to a husky kennel with a walk alongside sled dogs. ✅ Laid-back group vibe – relaxed evenings, shared meals, scenic drives, and plenty of time outdoors with the huskies.
I'm 29 years old and grew up in The Netherlands. I moved to Amsterdam in 2020 and fell in love with the city. I live here with my three very sweet huskies, who often travel with me! I've for instance taken them on a camping road trip through Norway and on a trip to the Dolomites. I'm easygoing and love to experience new things. I'm a freelance content creator (photography & videography) and always have my camera with me! If you'd like some tips on photography or want some new pictures for Instagram, I can surely provide these during our trip :)
We’ll stay in shared accommodation surrounded by nature, with your own private bedroom. The house is a comfortable base for exploring the region and relaxing after long days outside. We will have a full kitchen and a spacious living room. Expect peaceful surroundings, easy access to hiking trails and lakes, and plenty of space to unwind, dogs included 🐾

Eine tolle Reise, Demi hat alles super organisiert, die Unterkunft war wunderschön und vor allem waren alle Leute sehr freundlich. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
On our arrival day I will pick you up at Karlstad airport or train station. We will check into our stay for the week, a lovely cabin in nature with your own private bedroom. We will also visit a supermarket to buy food & drinks for instance for breakfast. Once we're all settled we can explore the area around our cabin with my huskies and we'll have a nice dinner that night and get to know each other.

Brattfallet
Tag 2-3
Today we will go for a really nice hike to Brattfallet, a beautiful waterfall in a forest. The trail is known for its wild beauty, crossing through several forests. Afterwards we can enjoy delicious local food and opt to go for another shorter hike further down the river. Please note the hikes/activities may shift to another day depending on the weather.

Tag 3-4
Today we will enjoy a day on/by the water. I will bring a SUP board for you to try out with or without my huskies. You can also choose to rent a canoe or kayak. We will have a relaxed day by the water and bring some food to have a nice picknick. In the evening we can choose to go out for some Swedish food or choose to cook something in our cabin.

Tag 4-5
We will do some more hiking today and explore the Famtleden trail. It offers a fantastic natural and cultural experience. The trail passes Fämtfallet, a canyon about 60 meters deep and you can walk over a suspension bridge that is almost 100 years old. In the afternoon you will have an option to go to a spa.

Bograngen
Tag 5-6
We will visit a husky kennel today where we will learn all about what life is like as a 'musher', we will meet the huskies and go for a nice walk with them. Everyone will have one husky to walk. Afterwards, you will have the option to rent an ATV and go on an exciting adventure in Swedish nature.

Hovfjället AB
Tag 6-7
Today we will do another longer hike in Hovfjallet Nature Reserve. A lovely trail through forests and along a lake. Afterwards we can opt for another shorter hike, visit a lake for water activities or just relax at the cabin.

On our last day we will have breakfast, check out of the cabin and afterwards I will drop you off at the local train station. You'll still have some time to cuddle with my huskies and properly say goodbye to them.
