Is anyone else pumped like I am to be travelling to Asia again? Get ready! Singapore is opening for business to vaccinated travellers from an increasing list of countries, so what better place to start our adventures from? I'm looking for 4 more TripMates to join me on an adventure to the Lion City and its Malaysian neighbor! From hikes to Mount Faber Park to dinners at Lau Pa Sat in Chinatown, Singapore has it all. A vibrant, cosmopolitan city influenced by Malaysian, Chinese, Indian, and Western culture. Bike rides in Sentosa Cove at sunset are to die for, and why not enjoy some bar hopping at Clarke Quay? Foodies, shopaholics, hikers, amateur singers... Singapore will satisfy pretty much every tribe! Are you up for this amazing adventure? Send me a message! About me: my name is Federico and I'm a 25 years old ProTripLeader from Italy! I've been obsessed with geography ever since I was a little kid, and this passion has slowly evolved into a travel addiction ;) Asia has always held a special place in my heart, and I've travelled multiple times to the region, with stops in Oman, Korea, China, Japan, and the UAE. A dear friend of mine grew up in Singapore and has spent most of his life living on the island: he will join us to give us the full local experience!

Chinatown

Tag 1-2
Singapore's Chinatown is one of the most striking neighborhoods in Southeast Asia. From the colorful and vibrant colors to the traditional culinary culture of China, Chinatown blends two predominant cultures of the city: the Chinese and the Malay ones. Get ready to explore bazaars filled with an endless array of jewelry, bracelets and amulets, exotic fruits and candies, teas and seeds, cotton blouses and dresses, leather sandals, and keychain dolls.
2

Haji Lane

Tag 2-3
One could spend a whole afternoon in Singapore's historic Kampong Glam neighborhood without noticing this hidden alley. Situated in what is also known as the Arab quarter of Singapore, Haji Lane is a very chic place, which, in just a few years, has gained a reputation as one of the city's trendiest places to find unobtainable brands, independent shops, art galleries, and trendy clubs. Comparable to the Meatpacking district in New York or Shibuya in Tokyo, Haji Lane is a hidden gem that will appeal to the younger generation interested in Singapore's underground culture. Order a coffee or a beer and relax as you watch people go by. This is a favorite spot for Singapore's youth and therefore perfect for observing contemporary cosmopolitan culture.
3

MacRitchie Reservoir

Tag 3-4
MacRitchie Reservoir is a 12-hectare green paradise overlooking the reservoir of the same name that supplies water to the city. It is the most popular place for nature lovers and workout addicts in Singapore. We can take a walk along the edge of the lake to admire its beauty and serenity, enjoy a leisurely canoe trip through its calm waters or explore the forest and discover its inhabitants!
4

Lau Pa Sat

Tag 4-5
The Lau Pa Sat Festival Market (or Telok Ayer Market) is Singapore's most famous market and is located in the city center, in a richly decorated historic building. It was opened in 1894 and has been open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week ever since. Among its stalls, we can find food from all over the world, fresh produce, gifts, handicrafts, household goods, and much more.
5

Clarke Quay

Tag 5-6
Known as the beating heart of the city's nightlife, Clark Quay is a lively neighborhood by the harbor where everyone is free to express themselves. It's a place where tourists and locals alike can enjoy themselves at all hours. We can take a boat ride along the canal, dine at one of the region's most sought-after restaurants and dance the night away at a nightclub.
6

Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Tag 6-7
The Marina Bay Sands is probably Singapore's best-known icon: three skyscrapers set side by side, topped by the Skypark, a huge observation deck housing the world's highest infinity pool! "WonderFull", a multi-sensorial show complete with water games takes place directly on the bay every night at 9 PM, setting the mood for a lovely boardwalk stroll.
7

1-Altitude

Tag 7-8
1-Altitude is a New Age concept bar not to be missed on our trip to Singapore; it is located on the rooftop of Raffles Plaza, at a height of about 282 meters. It is the world's highest outdoor bar, with award-winning service, gourmet Australian food, and signature cocktails. In addition to the spectacular views, we can enjoy an exclusive ambiance, good music, and fluorescent lighting.
8

Gardens by the Bay

Tag 8
The Gardens by the Bay are Guinness World Record gardens. They are home to the world's tallest waterfall, the world's largest glass greenhouse, and a series of supertrees reaching 50 meters in height! In addition to the plants, the water, and the extraordinary landscape, this huge space is also home to amazing structures, including the famous supertrees and glass greenhouses.
