One of our first stops will be the famous Apartheid Museum, which allows visitors to experience the racial segregation that occurred during the Apartheid era by separating them by racial appearance. You will then proceed to have lunch in a typical local shebeen (African word for bar) for some local food before continuing with the sightseeing of the day. After lunch we head to the famous township of Soweto, home to around 1.5 million people and its neighborhoods range from Kliptown’s informal shacklands to the mansions of Diepkloof Extension, and Vilakazi Street, the heart of tourist Soweto. More like a city, this ‘township’ has worthwhile historical sites, a vibrant contemporary social scene and exciting new lifestyle attractions like the Orlando towers, the Hector Pieterson Museum and Mandela’s house in the bustling Vilikazi street, the only street in the world to have held two winners of the Nobel Peace Prize, Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Your guide will drop you at your accommodation at the end of the day to check-in and to have free time before dinner.

We leave the city to go and enjoy the African Bush for five days. This will be the time where you will stay in a Lodge in the middle of the bush and will enjoy morning and afternoons game drives in 4x4 open vehicles. For the brave ones, there will be the possibility to do game walks and come even closer to the African Bush.

We leave the private Game Reserve and we head towards the South of Kruger National Park for three nights. We will be staying in a lodge the outskirts of the Park and will have the possibility to go on mornings and afternoons game drives in open 4x4 vehicles.
