Details zu diesem Trip
Experience Japan beyond the typical tourist route on this immersive 23-day journey across the country. We'll travel from the vibrant streets of Tokyo to the traditional towns of Takayama, Shirakawa-go, Ainokura, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Nagoya, Ise, and Yokohama, discovering historic castles, UNESCO World Heritage sites, ancient temples, beautiful mountain villages, and some of Japan's most fascinating cultural landmarks along the way. This itinerary has been carefully designed to combine Japan's iconic highlights with lesser-known destinations that many visitors never get to experience. This trip is ideal for travelers who genuinely want to experience Japan in depth. While we'll visit many of the country's iconic landmarks, we'll also spend time in destinations that many international visitors never reach, offering a more authentic perspective on Japanese history, culture, architecture, cuisine, and everyday life. Expect a well-paced adventure with frequent train travel, shared accommodations, and plenty of walking. Some days will start early to make the most of our time, while others include free afternoons and evenings to relax or explore independently. Every transfer has been planned carefully to maximize our experience while keeping the journey efficient and enjoyable. Whether you're passionate about Japanese history, architecture, traditional culture, castles, shrines, local food, anime, or simply want to experience the country far beyond the usual highlights, this three-week adventure offers the perfect balance of famous landmarks, hidden gems, cultural immersion, and unforgettable memories.

Hi, I'm Stefano, a 24-year-old TripLeader from Italy with a long-standing passion for Japan, its culture, history, language, and cuisine. After independently planning and completing my own journey through Japan, I wanted to share that experience with fellow travelers. I'm currently studying Japanese and enjoy discovering places beyond the typical tourist route. Throughout the trip, I'll take care of the planning and logistics so you can relax, enjoy the experience, and make the most of our adventure together

Throughout the trip, we'll stay in a mix of traditional ryokans, guesthouses, townhouses, hotels, and apartments, carefully selected to match each destination and provide a more authentic experience. Most rooms will be shared to keep the trip affordable. Please note that accommodations may vary depending on availability, while maintaining a similar level of comfort. If you have any questions about the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, or anything else, feel free to send me a message, I'd be happy to help. I look forward to exploring Japan with you! 🇯🇵🏯🌸
