Here's where we'll be spending our time: 🌊 Zuma Beach One of Malibu's largest and most beloved beaches, Zuma features a wide expanse of pristine golden sand stretching nearly two miles along the Pacific. With gentle waves, crystal-clear water, and the Santa Monica Mountains as a backdrop, it's the quintessential California beach experience. We'll arrive early to enjoy the peaceful morning light before the crowds roll in. (Zuma Beach is currently under ongoing reconstuction, but remains open to the public). 🌊 Point Dume A dramatic headland jutting into the Pacific, Point Dume offers breathtaking panoramic views, tide pools teeming with marine life, and one of the most spectacular sunset viewpoints in all of Malibu. The bluffs here have appeared in countless films and photographs and once you see the golden light painting the cliffs and sea, you'll understand why. 🌊 El Matador State Beach Perhaps the most photographed beach in California, El Matador is a hidden gem featuring dramatic sea stacks, natural stone arches, secret caves, and rocky coves that look like something from a dream. Accessed by a steep staircase down the bluff, this intimate beach rewards early risers with stunning sunrise light that transforms the rock formations into works of art.
