Northern Italy long weekend! Enjoy four days in between Milan, Liguria, Lake Como & Bergamo!

Where are we staying? 🏡 Our accommodation will be situated in northern Milan: —> Apartment: 2 connected rooms, 1 double bed (2 girls) + 2 single beds (2 boys), 1 bathroom What about the transportation?🚙 As you have probably guessed, 😆 we are going to move around mainly by car 🚗! I’ll be your private driver! As for Milan, instead, for the most central areas, we are going to travel by Subway 🚇 (you can estimate about 2.20€ per ride). The trip costs include 💰: - Accommodation - Car & Toll Booths (Gasoline NOT included) - In Como: funicular round-trip ticket - In Como: GreenWay return bus - In Liguria: underground Cave Entrance Ticket - Free Wi-Fi at the accommodation (I still recommend you buying a Tourist SIM online, so that you can be connected wherever you prefer, whenever you feel like it.). - Travel Insurance (unluckily, for now, provided only for travellers from Germany and Austria) What is not included 💸: - Flights/trains (Nevertheless, prices to Milan from major European cities are currently very affordable, between 30 and 150 euros. They can be a little more expensive coming outside Europe.) - Meals - Gasoline (We will update in real time the expenses through Splitwise so that everything will be equally distributed without any additional costs. But it won't be more than 35/40€). - Subway Transportation in Milan (You can consider more or less 5€) - Other activities not mentioned in “The trip costs include” - Travel Insurance (except travelers from Germany and Austria) ❕ IMPORTANT GUIDELINES: —> It will be mandatory for this specific trip to be lightly equipped, as we will be sharing a car with 4 of us, and the trunk will only be one 🤓! I suggest a backpack for the all load and a small bag 🎒 for the daily explorations. —> Always bring some cash 💶. Italy has finally switched to mandatory card payment availability… but the old generations are still in love with their banknotes and coins, so it will be easier to buy stuff in small souvenir and food stores (which are usually the best ones to explore!). —> Dress in layers 🧥: despite its reputation as a hot country, it is not always summer in Italy! Remember to bring at least a couple of sweaters or sweatshirts! —> For the first day, we will leave once you all arrive at the meeting point. At the latest, we will leave by lunchtime (or soon after), so it will be essential to book a flight on Thursday morning! The meeting point will be in Milan Central Station, where I will pick you up directly by car. —> Please take into consideration early morning wake up calls (we have plenty to do and only few days!). —> This weekend will involve quite a bit of hiking; although the trails will be pretty easy, we’ll be walking for several hours. So if you’re not a fan of hiking, this might not be the best trip for you! —> Regarding this specific trip, the preferred age range has been set between 25 and 35 years old. If you are 2 or 3 years older or younger than the established limit, we can discuss it together to see if it’s still feasible. This decision is not intended to discriminate against anyone, but is due to the particularly small number of participants.
