Estimated driving hours (in total throughout the afternoon): about 1 and a half. On the first day, we will actually meet at Milan Central station. Then
after a brief stop at our apartment we will leave for Bergamo.
First we will stop to Crespi d’Adda, for a quick visit.
Crespi is a perfectly preserved late-19th-century workers' village and UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by the Crespi family as an Utopistic ideal city where the factory and housing form a single harmonious whole. Right after we will leave for a late afternoon exploration of Bergamo Alta: a medieval village frozen in time, protected by the majestic Venetian walls (another UNESCO World Heritage Site). At its heart lies Piazza Vecchia, considered one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The village itself is a labyrinth of cobblestone alleys offering breathtaking views of the plains and the Alps, blending Renaissance art with centuries-old culinary traditions. In the late evening we will head back to Milan, take a shower, and then enjoy a late aperitif at a local pub.

Verezzi
Tag 2-3
Estimated driving hours (round trip): about 5h Our second day together we'll se us wake up reaaaaally early! As a matter of fact quite of a drive expect us. Although it is "Cinque Terre" that are always the talk of international tourism, there is an area of the Ligurian coastline still unknown to most, but just as magical. Finale Ligure (literally, the end of Liguria) & Verezzi offer amazing food 🍝, endless coastline and breathtaking views, far from the tourist hustle and bustle, and difficult to reach without a car. As soon as we arrive, we’ll kick off the day with a short, 1 hour-long hike to an amazing viewpoint: La Grotta dei Falsari. Late in the morning, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved focaccia while relaxing with a picnic on the beach. In the early afternoon, we’ll head to Borgio for a tour of the famous caves. Around 7PM, after an aperitif with a view (in the stunning Verezzi), we'll head back to Milan.

Lake Como
Tag 3-4
Estimated driving hours (in total throughout the day): about 3h
Como is a world renowned tourist destination and thousands of people flock there every year to explore the impressive lake and the surrounding natural landscape. First thing in the morning, we’ll get up early (but a little later than the day before 😉) and set off for an a hike along the Lake Como Greenway. The Greenway is one of Italy’s most charming walking trails: a gentle 10-kilometer stroll that winds along the western shore of the lake, partly following the ancient Via Regina. We will then return to the car by bus and leave for the center of Como, where we will visit the splendid Cathedral, explore the lakefront and take the funicular to Brunate, with its lavish old villas and breathtaking views across the lake. EXTRA ACTIVITY (depending on the time we have left): at last we will head to Orrido di Nesso, a deep natural canyon nestled in the heart of a medieval village, where the force of two streams converges into a spectacular waterfall that plunges into the lake. Its most iconic feature is the ancient Ponte della Civera, a stone arch spanning the water that offers a magical, timeless view. In the late afternoon we will head back to Milan, take a shower and then enjoy a nice dinner together at a local restaurant.
