Are you ready for an adventure-filled weekend in The Lake Side? Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya and it is located around 2 hours drive from the city of Nairobi which makes this area a perfect short trip for a weekend or a 1-2 days break from the city. What makes this lake so special is the ecosystem around it, the area is home to a variety of types of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, more than 400 species of birds, hippos, and more (mostly not predators), and one of the unique experiences you can have there is the walking safari which means that you can walk around and see the animals and get as close as possible to them by foot. A two-hour drive from Nairobi. Let us spend two nights near Lake Naivasha. We will leave Nairobi on Friday evening by the time we get to our destination it will be dinner time, so our first meal will be at a nearby restaurant, which will be within walking distance to the hostel. After a full belly, we have the option of a nearby pub to sample Kenyan food and beers before going back to the hostel to rest for the next day's adventures. Saturday morning, we will cruise the lake shore on a boat watching the hippos, feeding the birds with fish, and finally walking beside the giraffes, zebras, and others. One of the unique experiences you can have there is the walking safari which basically means that you can walk around and see the animals and get as close as possible to them by foot. We wind down the trip on Sunday at the majestic and therapeutic natural geothermal spa that spans 3,600 square feet & 5 feet deep for spicy comfort served with true African hospitality. The water is awesomely hot and rich in sulfur and silica minerals which is good for your skin. And it’s a spa, no need for swimming skills, just sit and enjoy the moment in therapeutic milky waters. What is included in the price? - Accommodation (2 nights) * Shared room - 2 days of breakfast * Lunch and dinner are not included and will be spontaneous at a roadside attraction or some snacks in the car. The Restaurants we visit are preparing local delicacies and are excellent value for money - Transportation for the entire trip, from the meeting to the finishing location. - Culinary Experience.
