Mount Olympus Grand Trail, is the absolute experience for those who seek for a long distance and hut to hut hiking trip. It is a unique and pioneering concept, which runs the north east and east side of Mount Olympus via a well scheduled itinerary of more than 60km, in a great ambiance with sea side, forest and high-altitude trails. This challenging and highly rewarding adventure, is very tight connected with Mediterranean culture and elegance, sea views, friendly accommodation, high summits and pure unspoiled nature. Day 1: Meeting in Litochoro town - Hiking Mt Olympus - Stavros to Koromilia Refuge After our meeting and detailed briefing, we will get transferred on Mount Olympus National Park. Today we will hike the north east side of the mountain, towards Koromilia refuge. Late afternoon we will enjoy our dinner in the refuge balcony, facing the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight in the refuge Duration: 4 h Distance: 11km

Petrostrouga Refuge
Tag 2-3
Day 3 : Hiking Mount Olympus – Koromilia refuge to Petrostrouga Refuge After breakfast, we will start hiking in a pleasant rhythm, following the trail of the ancient Greek, towards the summits. As we are getting closer to the 12 Gods, we will talk about the history, mythology, fauna and flora of the area. Early afternoon we will access the magnificent positioned Petrostruga Refuge. The same afternoon we will hike towards the Apollo Secret Cave... a fantastic spot, very well positioned, with magnificent views and very tight connected with the Ancient Greek Mythology. Settle down - overnight stay. Duration : 6 h Vertical ascent: 1000m Distance : 12km

Muses plateau
Tag 3-4
Day 4 : Hiking Mount Olympus – Petrostrouga – To Musses Plateau Breakfast at the refuge and start hiking towards the Mythical Muses Plateau. The view and the diversity of the scenery is huge, as the alpine terrain gives access to airy ridges and finally to the Throne of Zeus. After we will be settled down in the refuge, the same afternoon we will climb the very top – Pantheon 2918m, the highest Peak in Greece. Duration : 6 hours Vertical ascent : 1000m Distance : 9km Overnight to the refuge

Spilios Agapitos (Zolotas) Refuge
Tag 4-5
Day 5 : Hiking Mount Olympus – High peaks to Refuge A’ Breakfast and start hiking towards south. The south part of Mount Olympus includes alpine scenery and high peaks. After we will hike Skolio 2.909m, we will finish this magnificent traverse in a friendly refuge. Duration : 5 - 6 hours Vertical ascent : 400m Distance : 8km Overnight to the refuge

Enipeus

Day 6: Hiking Mount Olympus – Refuge A’ to Enipeas Gorge – Mountain Resort After breakfast we will start down hike towards the Enipeas Gorge. A low altitude hike with well-marked trail in deep forest and awesome scenery of waterfalls and rivers. Late afternoon we will access the Faki Mountain Resort, a true mountain nest inside the deep forest that faces the Mediterranean Sea. A little bit closer to the civilization, we will enjoy homemade food and exceptional hospitality. Duration : 6h Vertical drop : 1600m Distance : 18km Overnight at the resort

Day 6 : Hiking Mount Olympus East Side and the sea side trails After breakfast we will explore the sea side part of the mountain. The well-marked trail, runs the deep forest in a circular itinerary and finally we will meet the resort early at noon. After a short break we are heading to the Olympus Riviera and the crystal sea waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The diversity of this day is huge with mountain and forest landscapes which dive into the sea. Duration : 4h Vertical ascent : 600m Distance : 7km Transfer to Litochoro town - end of trip
