This trip is for you if… you’re open to heat, distance, and unfamiliar rhythms. You’ll learn how people live with very little, roadtrip in morroco. If leaving comfort behind, sleeping in the desert, and sharing life around fire and tea feels like real adventure, this journey will shift your perspective. 🌄 Journey Overview This journey leads by road and on foot through some of Morocco’s varied regions. We travel from busy cities into the High Atlas Mountains, through deep valleys, across open plateaus, and far into the Sahara Desert. While vehicles are used to cover long distances, the journey is not about constant driving. We leave the road where it makes sense, and move on foot through landscapes that invite walking. In the desert especially, movement happens mostly on foot, sometimes with camels. Along the way, I share practical outdoor and survival related knowledge, environmental awareness, and guidance for moving safely and respectfully through very different terrains, from mountains and gorges to desert and forest. Just as important is the space for presence, reflection, and genuine group connection. We travel light, adapt constantly, and allow the land to shape the experience instead of forcing our own pace onto it.
🧭 Guiding Philosophy I have spent many years traveling on multi day nature and adventure journeys. My approach is simple, grounded, and respectful toward the land, the group, and myself. For me, nature is far more than a destination. It is home. I guide with calm awareness, practical experience, and respect for natural processes. The focus is not on performance or extremes, but on moving attentively, living simply, and reconnecting with something essential that often gets lost in modern life.
🏡 Accommodation Details Accommodation on this journey is intentionally simple and closely connected to the landscape. We stay in a mix of: • small local guesthouses • simple accommodations in rural areas • desert camps in the Sahara • one overnight stay in nature near the Atlas foothills In the desert, nights are spent in basic Berber camps shaped by local knowledge and hospitality. Comfort is simple, but the setting is powerful. In cities such as Marrakesh and Fes, we stay in modest accommodations that allow rest and recovery without a focus on luxury.
