I am the leader of the meetup group Wild Hearted Wanderers. I asked Stephanie Urbana Jones to lead us on this trip. San Miguel is Stephanie’s heart-home — a place where she invites you to experience the sacred, the soulful, the passionate, and the creative spirit of this special place. She is a world recognized musician and cofounder of Freedom Folk and Soul, who provides tours world-wide.

The accommodations are in a hotel in the heart of San Miguel and are based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available for additional fee. Location allows us to walk to many places and experience the local culture and lovely restaurants. All guestrooms are individually decorated, and feature comforts such as free international calls and fireplaces, in addition to perks like free WiFi and safes. The trip is filled with fun activities to embrace the culture, such as experiencing a flamenco performance, enjoying a concert, awakening creativity through art tours and a private guided art session, a soak in the natural hot springs, private dance lessons, a private cooking class, a rooftop toast and a beautiful view of the city, massage and breathwork, fabulous meals, a private glam and professional photo session, and a final dinner at a local home filled with hospitality and stunning views. We will also visit an animal sanctuary to see how they care for animals in need. The trip includes free time to relax, explore or recharge at your own pace.

We will be touring this famous landmark, the Sistine Chapel of Mexico. Unassuming from the outside, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is beautiful on the inside. It is covered with murals, sculptures, and inscriptions.

Art galleries thrive in San Miguel de Allende, a city that celebrates creativity. You'll find unique places like Galería Atotonilco, showcasing folk art and Mexican ceramics, and Fábrica La Aurora, a converted factory with diverse artists' studios. We will tour some artist quarters and will have an immersive painting experience as a keepsake to remember this journey.
