Lake Tahoe - Beach, ATV, Hiking, Biking, Boating, & More!

Are you ready for a great time in Lake Tahoe? I’ve lived in S. Lake Tahoe partially for 12 years. South Lake Tahoe is a California resort city on Lake Tahoe, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It’s known for nearby ski resorts, beaches, and casinos. The city’s restaurants and bars merge with the casinos of adjacent Stateline, Nevada. West of the city, Emerald Bay State Park includes Vikingsholm, a 1929 Nordic-style mansion. I’m going to present the best Tahoe activities that our group can decide to do during our trip both free and at a cost. I’ve done all of these activities and none of them disappoint! See pictures. Beach - Volleyball, cornhole, swimming, rent jet skis, rent paddleboards and watch the sunset with a few cocktails at the beach bar. Hiking – I’ve done a lot of trails in Tahoe and have barely scratched the surface! I use an app to provide us with any trail we’d like to take in the area. Biking – There’s a bike path from the house all the way to the south side of Lake Tahoe minus a few side streets. One time we were biking next to a meadow and actually had a baby cub run along the fence. River Tubing – Float down a 5-mile lazy river with a category 1 rapid at the end. Everyone gets into water fights with other tubers on the river. ATVs - 4 Seater RZR. These are self-guided excursions providing hands down one of the best ways to see Lake Tahoe. We drive these ATVs ourselves up to the fire mountain roads and it’s always a great time. Boating – A ton of options for us though this activity isn’t cheap. There’s nothing like seeing the lake from the boat plus opting for a tube on the back. Balloon Ride – Very expensive per person and you've got to get up really early in the morning. But once in a lifetime experience! The price includes accommodation (your own queen bed in a shared room), and transportation for all activities. If you have any questions post a chat.
