Halloween Trip to Transylvania: Brașov, Sighișoara & Dracula’s Castle

We’ll be based in Brașov, take a day trip to Sighișoara and visit three of Transylvania’s most famous castles, with the chance to spend the spookiest night of the year at Bran Castle, better known as Count Dracula’s Castle. Detailed itinerary 📅 Thursday, 29 October: Arrival → Brașov We land at Bucharest Airport (OTP) and travel to Brașov in our private rental vehicle, passing through valleys and autumn forests. After a journey of approximately three hours, we check in at our centrally located boutique hotel. Depending on our arrival time, we’ll go out for dinner together and begin discovering the city’s unique atmosphere. 📅 Friday, 30 October: Sighișoara In the morning, we set off for Sighișoara to explore its fascinating medieval citadel. We’ll climb the Clock Tower, wander among its colourful houses and cobbled streets and enjoy a relaxed lunch. In the afternoon, we return to Brașov, where we’ll have the evening free to have dinner together and stroll around the city centre. 📅 Saturday, 31 October: Three castles + Halloween party at Bran Castle We begin the day in Sinaia, visiting the elegant Peleș Castle, with admission to the interior included. We then continue to Cantacuzino Castle, famous for its panoramic views and settings reminiscent of the Netflix series Wednesday. In the afternoon, we reach the legendary Bran Castle, where we prepare for a truly unforgettable Halloween night. After visiting the castle, with admission included, we join the Halloween party, which will end at 4:00 a.m. Anyone who prefers not to attend the party is free to opt out: the cost of the party will be deducted from the trip price, but they will need to arrange their own return journey to Brașov by Uber or bus. 📅 Sunday, 1 November: Relax + exploring Brașov After our long Halloween night, we enjoy a relaxed morning to rest. In the afternoon, we explore Brașov together, strolling through Council Square, visiting the Black Church and wandering along the charming medieval streets of the historic centre. We end the day with dinner together and one final evening in the city. 📅 Monday, 2 November: Group return to Bucharest We leave early in the morning in our private vehicle and travel to Bucharest Airport (OTP). The journey takes approximately three hours, so our departure time will be arranged according to the group’s flight schedules, bringing our Halloween adventure in Transylvania to an end. What’s included? 🏨 Four nights’ accommodation in Brașov in a twin or double room, shared with another member of the group, with breakfast included. One single-occupancy room is available at an additional cost. 🚐 A private rental vehicle for the exclusive use of the group, including comprehensive insurance, fuel and road tolls. 🎟️ Admission tickets to Cantacuzino Castle, a filming location for the Netflix series Wednesday; Bran Castle, better known as Count Dracula’s Castle; and Peleș Castle. 🎃 Admission to the Halloween party at Dracula’s Castle. 🙋‍♀️ Trip coordination and a group leader throughout the journey. Bring a warm jacket or coat, comfortable footwear and a lightweight raincoat. 💰 Currency: Romanian leu (RON).
