Details zu diesem Trip
Are you looking for a relaxing end to your year where you can enjoy the simple sailing life surrounded by white sand beaches, crystal clear anchorages, waterfalls, fantastic scuba diving, fresh local food and a splash or two of rum? You will embark the catamaran in colourful St Georges, Grenada, where we will stay the night to get you accustomed to the boat before heading off to the turquoise waters of Carriacou, Union Island, Palm Island, Petit St Vincent, Mayreau & swimming with the turtles in The Tabago Cays. Enjoy Caribbean Pre- Christmas fun in the sun, where the emphasis is on togetherness and sharing. This trip is sure to leave you refreshed and inspired for the new year ahead.

About us! We are a family of 4, who have spent the last 4 years sailing from Spain to Australia. We've explored some of the most remote places on earth, and want to inspire others to step outside of their comfort zones and have an adventure with us. We love the ocean, and we want you to experience what it's like to travel by sailboat to a new destination - you can get as involved with the sailing as you would like. We will share the secrets of living on the water as well as show you parts of the Caribbean that are simply impossible to get to without a boat. As we have now sold our boat in Australia we will be hiring a slightly newer, bigger boat in order to share this trip with you.

Details about the accommodation: We will be sharing a beautiful Catamaran for 7 sun-filled days. Each hull includes 2 cabins and 2 small bathrooms. The price is for 1 person sharing a private double cabin with their travel partner. Cabins have an en-suite toilet and shower each. Bedding is provided, but please bring your own beach towel. We welcome families - especially those with Teenagers to come and share the fun! Do you have a question about the trip or the accommodation? You can let me know in the Q&A section below!

Our first night will be spent in St Georges harbour which is one of the prettiest in the Caribbean. We will take a tour to the many beautiful waterfalls nestled in the lush rainforest surroundings, or an outing to the organic chocolate factory or spice plantation. The small island of Carriacou has a population of around 8,000. It also has over 100 rum shops and some incredible places to relax and hide away. We will visit beautiful beaches, spend our days swimming and exploring the underwater world, or hanging out in one of the many beach front cafes. It is also a very popular kite surfing spot if you fancy a bit of action.

Grenada

Tag 7-8
We will enjoy our last evening anchored in Prickly Bay, which is well known amongst cruisers as one of the best anchorages. For your last evening we will enjoy the live steel band music from the yacht club’s bar before heading back to the boat to pack up. The next morning you will disembark and take home memories that will last a lifetime.
