Day 2: Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, and Dunluce Castle - Prepare and enjoy some breakfast. Also prepare picnic food to take on the road. - Visit the Giant’s Causeway, an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in Northern Ireland1. - In the afternoon, head to the Bushmills Distillery, the oldest licensed distillery in the world. Here, you can learn about the whiskey-making process and enjoy some tastings. - End the day with a visit to Dunluce Castle, a now-ruined medieval castle located on the edge of a basalt outcropping in County Antrim. - Return to the accommodation. - Prepare and enjoy some dinner. - Enjoy some free time or spend socialising. Day 3: Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges, and Ballintoy Harbour - Prepare and enjoy some breakfast. Also prepare picnic food to take on the road. - Visit the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, a thrilling walk across a 30-meter deep and 20-meter wide chasm. The bridge offers stunning views across to Rathlin Island and even Scotland. - In the afternoon, head to The Dark Hedges, an atmospheric tunnel of beech trees that has been used as a location in HBO’s popular television series Game of Thrones. - End the day with a visit to Ballintoy Harbour, a picturesque harbour located in the small village of Ballintoy - Return to the accommodation.
