Are you into nature? Like to explore the culture like a local? Then join me in this trip to cities with its culture and beautiful nature of Indonesia. We’ll visit Jogjakarta, a city that’s rich in Javanese culture and has lots of traditional buildings waiting to be visited. There’re famous temples, that’s part of world’s heritage, namely Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple. We’ll raft on a serene river that flows underneath a stunning cave, called Goa Pindul. And then there’s Karimunjawa, where you can enjoy the relaxing beach and snorkeling to your heart content with the fishes on the reefs for 4 days straight! Have a taste of freshly-caught fish and grilled right before your eyes! There’s Semarang, a city that also rich in traditional and cultural building. We’ll visit Lawang Sewu and Kota Lama, an old heritage building with traditional Netherland-style architecture. After long days of adventure in Java, we are going back to Jakarta by train, and have a culinary adventure here. A short introduction about myself, I'm 27 from Jakarta, Indonesia. I love traveling, exploring many kinds of culture and local foods. The cost of this trip includes: - Accommodation (As for this trip, I plan to stay in an Airbnb. Jakarta

Tag 1-3

Welcome to Indonesia! Let’s use your first day to relax and free yourself from the jet lag after the long flight. We’ll stay in an Airbnb, located in the heart of the city, so you can go around with ease. In the next day, we’ll have a short trip around the city to Kota Tua, and go to the Monas or Textile Museum and make batik there. After a short trip of the day, we’ll get ready to go to Jogja by plane from Soekarno Hatta Int. Airport

Yogyakarta

Tag 3-7

After we arrived in Jogja, we’ll go and check in to our Airbnb, and have some dinner in night culinary streets, or you can have some rest for the big adventure tomorrow. - The first day in Jogja, we’ll visit the famous both temples in Indonesia, Borobudur temple and Prambanan Temple. If we’re lucky, we could spend the night and watch a magnificent performance in Prambanan temple outdoor, with a background of the Prambanan temple itself! - The next day, we’ll visit Kraton Taman Sari, a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. It is located about 2 km south within the grounds of the Kraton, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Built in the mid-18th century, the Taman Sari had multiple functions, such as a resting area, a workshop, a meditation area, a defense area, and a hiding place. - In the 3rd day, we’ll visit Goa Pindul. It’s an amazing cave, where we’ll enjoy the beauty of the cave, while cruising along the underground cave using a tube. It’s a must-try experience that you surely don’t want to miss! - In the last day of our visit in Jogja, we’ll prepare for our journey to the next city using a travel and boat

Karimunjawa

Tag 7-11

Welcome to the Karimunjawa! The paradise of beaches and snorkling lovers! From here onwards, we’ll follow the local tour, customized and special only for us. We’ll be having a 4 nights local tour, where you’ll experience diving and snorkeling in the stunning beaches on the island. Taste a freshly catched seafood and grilled right before your eyes! This, you can’t surely miss and a-must-try at least once in your life! After spending marvelous 4 days-tour in Karimunjawa, we’ll go to Semarang by bus.

Semarang

Tag 11-13

After we arrived in Semarang, we’ll have night-culinary-tour and taste every local cuisine available in Semarang. In the next day, we’re going to do a day trip to Semarang, and visit historical site such as Lawang Sewu and Kota Lama. We’ll use the rest of the night to prepare for the next trip in the early morning to Karimun Jawa by boat.

West Jakarta

Tag 13-14

Welcome back to Jakarta! In the last days of our trip, I’ll take you to visit restaurants and places, where you can feel as if you’re a local here! Starting from visiting a fresh fish market in Angke, where you can buy yourself a fresh and various fish, straight from the fisherman! Other option, we’ll visit “little Tokyo” in Blok M area, where you can try various Japanese food or the famous-local-food, Gulai Tikungan.
