About Me I’m from South Africa and I’ve lived in a couple of countries around the world. Discovering new places and meeting new people brings me joy, so why not share that with others! The Trip I’m looking for travel buddies to join me on a semi-fancy trip to Bohemia. We will meet in Prague at the main train station for an afternoon tour of the city led by me. The next morning we will go to a nearby village for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I will take you to the best restaurants I know and I hope you like coffee and wine because that's another thing the Czechs do really well. Our trip highlights are a visit to a beautiful big castle with a park and lake, admiring local art, a day hike with a short stop to see an exhibition of war tanks. It will be a fascinating trip where we learn about local culture and history while getting to know each other. Overall, we will have a nice balance of time spent in nature and the city. This weekend is specially planned for people who need to take a break and slow down while seeing the authentic and rustic beauty of the Czech Republic. Prague
Tag 1-2
Let's meet up in Prague for an afternoon of exploring the top attractions! From the Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge, the Lennon Wall and more. We will stay in a beautiful hotel in the center of this incredible city - voted ''the most beautiful city in Europe''. Here we can easily find cute cafes with amazing coffee and stunning restaurants for lunch or dinner.

Benešov
Tag 2-4
The next morning we escape to the countryside and travel by train to a small village in Central Bohemia. We will check in to a boutique hotel for the weekend. Our luxurious accommodation is a stunning renovated historic building that includes a sauna and other wellness offers. We’ll go for a short walk around the city and visit the local museum of arts and design with exhibitions of modern architecture and regional art.

Konopiště
Tag 4
A highlight of this trip is visiting Konopiste Castle and the surrounding park. We will keep an eye out for the deers and feed them carrots! It's the best time to visit since the flowers will be blooming and we can learn a bit about Czech heritage in the sunshine with peacocks wandering around. There are tours inside the castle, we can decide later if you want to do that as well.

Tag 4
The next day we go for a hike along the Vltava river with stunning views of rock formations and castle ruins. We will make a short stop at a military museum to see a collection of tanks including the famous Pink Tank that was painted in a rebellious act against the Russian invasion. Along the trail, we will have lunch at a typical Czech-style restaurant and dinner will be at a nice restaurant back in Benesov.

Prague
Tag 4
On the last day, we will take a train to Prague and then it depends if you need to catch a flight or not. There is also a shuttle that goes straight from the hotel to the airport if you are in a rush. If you have time to stay a few hours longer, then we can leave our luggage in a storage locker and I will be available to show you more of the city's best-kept secrets!
