This carefully crafted itinerary takes you on a 4-day adventure to explore the rich cultural heritage of the country while offering you a chance to indulge in some of the finest Thai food and experience the beauty of nature. 🚖 Starting from Bangkok, you will be taken on a journey through some of the most stunning landscapes in Thailand, including the breathtaking Lam Ta Khong Dam and the Phu Wiang National Park. You will also get to experience the local way of life by visiting some of the most authentic and charming rural areas, including the weaving and silk road at Chonnabot District in Khon Kaen. For this trip, we will use my own car Volvo XC40 to go. 🙏 One of the highlights of this trip is the merit-making ceremony at the Luang Pu Thep Lok Udon Meditation Center in Khon Kaen. Here, you will have the chance to participate in chanting, making merit, and going out to the almshouse, as well as try a variety of delicious dishes and the famous golden-bamboo ice cream. 🍲🦐 With a night market in Khon Kaen, where we'll try various Thai street foods and shop for local handicrafts. 🏨 Throughout the trip, you will be staying in carefully selected 3-4 star hotels that offer comfortable accommodations and convenient locations for travel. The style of travel is relaxed and immersive, allowing you to fully enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of Thailand. 🇹🇭📸 As a Thai local, wellness business owner, and photographer, I will provide you with unique insights into the local culture and way of life, as well as tips and tricks for capturing the perfect shot. In the afternoon, we'll make a stop at the magnificent Lam Ta Khong Dam, where you can marvel at the stunning view and take in the refreshing atmosphere. This stop is a definite must-see on our itinerary, and it's a great chance to create lasting memories with your fellow travelers. Maha Sarakham

We will Indulge in a mouth-watering meal on the way to Maha Sarakham. You can even request a recommendation for a restaurant that specializes in your preferred cuisine. Depending on when you arrive in Maha Sarakham, you may be able to explore local attractions like Phra Borommathat Na Dun, and Ku Santirat or witness the weaving of silk with the Ban Khwao flower pattern. We will check into a comfortable and reasonably-priced 3-4 star hotel, and settle in for the night. If you have some free time, head over to Wat Wangplado, where the former abbot was the first Thai missionary to the United States. It's an interesting place to visit and learn about the history of Thai Buddhism.

We will start the day with a delicious breakfast and hit the road towards Chonabot district. We will arrive at Khon Kaen and check into your hotel, ready for an exciting evening. In the evening, visit the Ton Tann Night Market, one of the largest and most popular night markets in Khon Kaen. The market is bustling with activity and offers a wide variety of street food, local products, and handmade crafts. Try some of the delicious local dishes, such as som tam (papaya salad), Khao tom (rice soup), and sai krok Isaan (northeastern Thai sausage). You can also find unique souvenirs and handicrafts, such as silk products, wooden carvings, and traditional clothing. Don't forget to bargain with the vendors to get the best prices!

Depart for Amphoe Phon, Khon Kaen to join the merit-making ceremony at Luang Pu Thep Lok Udon Meditation Center. Arrive at Phon district at 8.00 to participate in the merit-making ceremony at Luang Pu Thep Lok Udon Meditation Center, which attracts many respected people from all over the country. During the event, there will be chanting, making merit, and going out to the almshouse, where disciples and worshipers bring free food, desserts, and drinks. Visitors will be able to try a variety of dishes and also make merit by giving away golden-bamboo ice cream, a local ice cream of Thailand known for its many flavors. The recommended menu is coconut milk ice cream, made with coconut milk, taro, and milk, and with various toppings available.
