Ephesus Ancient City, one of the largest and most important trade, religion and cultural centers of antiquity known all over the world, the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the world, the House of Virgin Mary, Şirince Village, etc. It makes İzmir an important location in terms of history. Izmir is known as the pearl of the Aegean. While seeing its history, nature and city life, it will be a trip that we will not neglect to take a vacation and have fun without forgetting that we are young. :D
About me! Hey globetrotter, I'm Elif from Turkey. I'm 23 and studying in İzmir. Traveling allows you to get to know people in the most entertaining way while blending you with different cultures. I am sure that we will have a lot of fun while visiting Izmir, one of the most touristic cities in Turkey. :)
Details about the accommodation: We will stay in a nice Airbnb in a central and summer town. A location close to all touristic summer districts and a sea view :) Private rooms depend on the number of teammates. We will meet in Izmir. On the first day, we will stay in Izmir so that you can rest a little. Since everyone's flight is different, the first day will be the arrival day and you will visit popular places such as Izmir Clock Tower, Alsancak, Historical Elevator and Kemeraltı bazaar. It will be very enjoyable to start getting to know each other by drinking Turkish coffee in Kemeraltı.

Çeşme

On the second day, we go to Çeşme, which is the top spot for tourists in summer, and settle in our house. After having our breakfast, we set out to enjoy the clean Aegean sea. We can play some volleyball and spend some quality time here.

Cesme Castle

Cesme Castle is a historical Ottoman palace dating from about 1508 with its unique sea view, museum and ambiance. It is one of the most important legacies of Turkey's Ottoman history. You can learn a lot about Turkish culture here.

Çeşme Marina

You will be amazed when you see that all the shops are from old stone cottages in the Marina part, which is one of the most social places in Çeşme. We will eat in this area, which is one of my favorite places, then we can shop and sit against the sea view.

Ephesus Ancient City

Ephesus was an ancient Greek city, an important Roman city. It was one of the twelve cities of Ionia during the classical Greek period. Its foundation dates back to the Neolithic Age 6000 BC. Today, it is the most touristic place in Izmir.

House of Virgin Mary

The House of Virgin Mary is located on Mount Bülbül. It is known that 4 or 6 years after the death of Jesus, St. John brought the Virgin Mary to Ephesus. In 1891, Lazarist priests, upon the dream of German nun A.Katherina EMERICH, revealed that this is the house where the Virgin Mary spent her last days. Here, according to superstitions, there is a belief that everyone who lights a candle and makes a wish will have their wish.

Şirince

Şirince village of Selçuk district of İzmir, which made its name known to the world due to the belief in the apocalypse based on the Mayan calendar, is a village established between the hills and has preserved its original historical architecture to a great extent. The village, which is reached by the curves of a road where olive trees are intertwined with tangerine trees, welcomes its guests with the delicious smell of old Greek houses and grapes from which wine is made. Here you can taste any wine you want and get whatever you want.

Boheme Beach Cesme

Alaçatı is the region where surfing is the most intense in Turkey. Alaçatı, famous for its summer and winter winds, has a unique ambiance. In Alaçatı, we can go to the beach together, do water sports and spend time.

Alaçatı Çarşı

The ancient name of Alaçatı is Agrillia. Alaçatı takes its name from an Ottoman tribe called 'Alacaat'. You can see Turkish taverns, shopping areas and sweet boutique hotels in the bazaar. We will spend our evening here, as it is an area with intense nightlife.
