Hello traveler! Welcome to Tanzania! My name is Dismas, I worked as a Kilimanjaro guide since 2001 and have climbed the mountain more than 250 times leading. My mission is to assist tourists visiting Tanzania through our company with unique vacation tour designed to make new memories together. So are you ready, to visit this beautiful country with me? This is one of Kilimanjaro’s easiest routes, and it has become an increasingly popular route in recent years. This route is located on the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro, with a variety of spectacular landscapes together with different plants and animal species. The typical duration for this trip is 6 days. However, you can also add an acclimatization day and make it a 7-day climb. The Rongai Route is more scenic than the Marangu Route and easier than another camping route in climbing Kilimanjaro, and the success rate on the Rongai Route is very high. Unlike the Marangu Route where you sleep in huts, on the Rongai Route, you sleep in tents, the porter will have your tent pitched and waiting for you at the end of each day's trek. This route starts on the north side of the mountain just south of the Kenyan border and is one of the least traveled routes. The route merges with the Marangu Route for the summit climb. We follow the Marangu Route on the mountain’s southeast side, so you will be able to see Kilimanjaro from many view points. There are two versions of this trek – a direct 6-day itinerary, and a 7-day itinerary that takes a longer route. The 6-day itinerary is described down below and the longer variation is described in the extra day’s section. 📍 Itinerary: DAY 01: Arrival day, Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport overnight Salinero Hotel DAY 02: Moshi to First Cave (Simba) 1950m to 2600m DAY 03: Simba to Kikelelwa Camp 2600m to 3600m DAY 04: Kikelelwa to Mawenzi Tarn 3600 to 4330 DAY 05: Acclimatization Day DAY 06: Tarn Hut to Kibo Camp 4330m to 4750m DAY 07: Kibo to Summit and Horombo Hut4750m to 5895m (and down to 3720m) DAY 08: Horombo hut to Moshi Salinero Hotel 💰 What is included in the price: - All park fees (entry fees, camping fees, rescue fees) - All equipment for the climb; Tents, chairs, tables, mess tent, cooking tent, mattresses for clients, forks, knives, plates, cooking gas, lamps (Everything to guarantee a good quality and successful climb) - Oxygen, pulse oximeter - All meals for clients and porters for all the duration of the climb - All wages for porters, guides, cooks at authority recommended wages - All transport costs for organization of the climb and preparation and any cost related to the climb/porters/food, etc. - All transfers from Hotels to park gates and from airport to hotel - Private chemical toilet - Two nights hotel accommodations at Salinero Hotel in Moshi (1 before + 1 after the climb) - 2 pairs of walking poles, 2 sleeping mattresses - Guides / 1 per each 2 pax What is not included in price: - Tipping of guides, porters, cooks - Personal Expenses If you have any questions, feel free to ask bellow.
