I’m heading to China in June 2026, and I’m inviting 4 adventurous, easygoing tripmates to join me for a journey that mixes ancient wonders, wild landscapes, and some of the coolest modern cities on the planet. We’ll walk the Great Wall, meet pandas, ride through Chongqing’s wild “8D Magic City”, wander across the famous TianSheng natural bridges, and finally stand inside the real-life world that inspired Avatar’s floating mountains in Zhangjiajie. If you love exploring, food, nature, and random fun experiences (like joining the dancing aunties in a public square), this trip is for you. China in summer 2026… let’s go make memories.

About me: I am Windy, I am naturally adventurous, I already organized several trips on JoinMyTrip and it was always fun! Go to my profile for more adventurous trips🪂 I am looking for EASY GOING & FUN tripmates, someone who loves adventure and isn't afraid to try new things but also enjoys a tranquil day out and exploring new places! This is a small group, to keep everyone comfortable the group will be limited to a maximum of 4 people.

About the Accommodation: combination of hotels, located very well in the city center of each city. All rooms are shared with separate beds. 2 people in a room. Same gender occupancy, unless couple. Beijing Capital International Airport

Tag 1-2

Arrive at Beijing PEK Airport and check in at the hotel. In the evening, we’ll explore the neighborhood, try some local food, and maybe even join the local aunties and uncles doing their nightly dance workouts in the park. It’s such a fun and wholesome way to experience real local life.

Great Wall of China

Tag 2-3

Today is a big one—we’re heading to one of the Seven Wonders of the World: The Great Wall of China. Expect amazing scenery, lots of walking, lots of photos, and that surreal moment where you think: Wow, I’m really here. After we return, we’ll grab dinner together, probably something warm and comforting after a long day—hotpot, maybe? ✅ The Great Wall of China visit is Included in the price.

Beijing

Tag 3-4

Today we dive deeper into Beijing. We can hit places like the Summer Palace, Beihai Park, Hutong alleys, or 798 Art Zone—whatever the group feels like. I also really want to see some cute panda bear :) NOTE: the price of any activity we choose to do today is not included in the price :)

Zhangjiajie

Tag 4-5

A slow morning to relax, pack, or explore a bit more. In the afternoon, we’ll catch a direct flight from Beijing to Zhangjiajie, home of the famous Avatar Mountains. NOTE: The flight cost is not included in the price, its around €100+/person. I can arrange the flight for everyone just give me your details.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Tag 5-6

A full adventure day in Zhangjiajie! We’ll visit all the highlights: Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Bailong Elevator, Hallelujah Mountain (yes, the Avatar one!), Tianzi Mountain, Grand Canyon, The Glass Bridge. It’s a full-day private tour (around 9 hours) with an English-speaking guide, private transport, and hotel pick-up and drop-off. NOTE: This activity is not included in the price and optional, if you want to join the price is approx €200+/person but the more person join, the cheaper it gets. If you want to join I can also book for you // if not, then you are agree to spend the day in the city and free to explore what excite you. PS: there is a cheaper option if you want to see only the national park, but my goal is avatar mountain.

Chongqing

Tag 6-7

We’ll take a morning train from Zhangjiajie to Chongqing. Once we arrive, the rest of the day is totally flexible. We can explore temples, food streets, or the city itself—up to you. You can wander off on your own or join together if we feel like doing the same thing. NOTE: Train fee is not included: around €35/person. I can arrange the train for everyone just give me your details.

Liziba Main Street

Tag 7-8

Today we explore Chongqing’s wild and futuristic vibe. We’ll check out the famous 8D Magic City spots, including the Liziba Monorail that literally passes through a building. This city feels like stepping into a sci-fi movie. NOTE: This activity is not included in the price and optional, if you want to join the price is approx €130/person. If you want to join I can also book it for you // if not, then you are agree to spend the day and free to explore what excite you.

Three Natural Bridges

Tag 8-9

A full day out in Wulong! We’ll visit TianSheng Three Bridges, one of China’s most stunning natural wonders. The iconic filming location of Transformers: Age of Extinction (Wulong). It’s an easy and beautiful day trip filled with nature and scenery. ✅ A full day trip to TianSheng Three Bridges + Longshui Gorge/Fairy Mountain (Wulong) is Included in the price.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport

Tag 9

Breakfast together, check-out, and then we head to Chongqing International Airport (CKG) for our flights home. or to the next destination, you can also join my next trip to Vietnam and Bali, Indonesia.
