👉🏻 About me! My name is Salvatore, and I'll be your TripLeader and driver. I'm a 32-year-old Italian guy. I was mesmerized by the Icelandic fascination two years ago while visiting with a group of four. I can't wait to share my experience with you!

🛌 Details about the accommodation: During our journey, we'll share cozy lodgings in hostels, apartments, and guesthouses. These accommodations are strategically chosen in villages or guesthouses located just outside of town centers to ensure a smoother road trip experience. Our primary focus will be on selecting lodgings in tranquil, rural areas with minimal light pollution, providing optimal conditions for viewing the mesmerizing Northern lights while immersing ourselves in the serenity and beauty of nature. If you have questions about the trip, you can reach out to me in the Q&A section!

Thingvellir National Park

Tag 2
On the second day of our Icelandic trip, we will traverse the gorgeous route of the Golden Circle, rich in geological wonders and natural beauty. Our adventure begins with the astounding Þingvellir National Park. This UNESCO historical site holds both geological significance and deep cultural roots: the park showcases the remarkable meeting point of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, and it was here, in the 10th century, that Iceland's first parliament was established.

Then, we'll visit the outstanding Reynisfjara, widely regarded as one of the world's most striking black sand beaches. From here, we can see the mythological Reynisdrangar basalt sea stacks.
