Details about the accommodation: The hotel will be in Gemona, with a delicious breakfast included. Each day after our activity, we return to the hotel. Shared room with other TripMates, max 2 people in the room, men and women will have a separate room. What is in the room: private bathroom, towels, WIFI, TV, table, linen, etc. General rules: Non-smoking. We will meet up at the point of Pick up: Gemona at 08:30 or Villach at 10:30 in the morning. Get to know each other while we head to our first stop lake Laghi di Fusine (Fusine Lakes) are two lakes of glacial origin in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, very close to the borders of Austria and Slovenia. 🔰Do let me know if you need to find a train or bus connection to Tarvisio or Gemona, as they often do not sell the ticket online but directly from the train staff!

Orrido dello Slizza
Tag 1-2
After Lunch, we will continue our adventure to a beautiful, striking natural area with a boardwalk through a rugged canyon for views over a clear-water stream. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Walk duration: 1 hour Level: Beginner

Lago Dimon
Tag 2-3
We will start our day early, eat breakfast and go hike in Dimon Lake. A lake above the mountain along the hike you will encounter rare species of flora such as the alpine pasqueflower. This hike is suitable for beginner - Intermediate, Duration: approx 4 hours (go up and down).

Venzone
Tag 3
The next day is more of a relaxing day, we will visit the villages and try local cuisine. First, we will visit Venzone, one of the most beautiful villages in northern Italy. Since 1965 Venzone is declared a National Monument as the only fortified village of the Region in the fourteenth century and then one of the most extraordinary examples of architectural and artistic restoration.

Goriuda waterfall
Tag 3
After lunch we will visit Goriuda waterfall, A flow of icy water from the upper grotto leaps over the valley, then plunges into the crystal-clear pool of water at the base of the cascade, in the steamy atmosphere of a lush beech forest. If we have more time, we can also go up by cable car to Monte Lussari: A cute little village on top of the mountain at a peak overlooking the land where the Carnic and Julian Alps Trip Finish around 16, drop off to Villach and Gemona.
