Bike Tour

I will take my gravel bike on a train to Poland and go back home cycling. Starting Katowice/ Krakow (PL) the way will go through the Czech Republic via Bohumin, Hranice, Otrokovice, Breclav/Lednice until we reach our destination Vienna (AT). Routes are mostly flat, so the trip is not as challenging. Everyday we will cycle around 80-90km with accommodation in B&Bs and Hotels. It's important to me to have a good night sleep to be able to make the next day. I can organize your transport tickets if you want to take your bike to Poland as well! Let me know!

When traveling I am easy going. During the day I like visiting cultural sights and be on the move. On evenings I love spending time in bars with a couple of beers, having conversations and watching the surroundings. I love exploring countries not only in touristic spots but also see authentic parts. Doing so, this involves getting off the beaten track and I tend to grab my bike. I often take my own bike with me and take a train as a starting point from where I do tours.

I already booked twin rooms however they can be organized as privates also. I will share the route with you so you can make yourself a picture of everyday's path. Included are all accommodations and breakfast, however we will need to eat during the day and evenings which is to be paid by each participant individually. Katowice

Tag 1

This will be a stop to stay for the night before we head on to our next destination. Until the border area there are cycling paths, after this we will follow countryside streets to avoid heavy car traffic.

Bohumín

To get there, we will follow the river Oder and some gravel paths (your bike should be fit for those) to avoid long detours. Finally this will be a stop to stay for the night before we head on to our next destination.

Hranice

Tag 2-3

This day will be mainly on the Eurovelo Cycle Path in combination with some gravel paths (your bike should be fit for those) to avoid long detours. Finally this will be a stop to stay for the night before we head on to our next destination.

Otrokovice

During the day we will see the historical buildings of the Liechtenstein family including the former tallest Minaret of Europe, underground grottos and the vast park area. After lunch we will head to our final tour to Vienna (possible to go by train from Breclav as well if you like)

Vienna

Tag 5

I have been to Vienna loads of times so we will celebrate somewhere what we achieved. As we reached our final destination where our ways might part. I will head on to the West from there hopping on a train with my bike.
