Ride across South Korea from Seoul to Busan following the iconic Four Rivers Cycling Path, a 596 km journey through rivers, nature, villages, and vibrant cities. This is a bikepacking-style trip for intermediate cyclists, combining physical challenge with deep cultural immersion and a strong culinary focus. We’ll ride 60–80 km per day and enjoy evenings exploring Korean cuisine, from sizzling BBQ to vibrant night markets. I’ll handle all logistics: rental bikes with panniers, private rooms, route guidance, and travel insurance. This is not a race. It’s an adventure to disconnect, explore slowly, and connect with like-minded people on two wheels.

Hey, I’m Miguel , im a travel coordinator, a digital nomad, and a Muay Thai fighter in my free time. I’ve led tours across China, Thailand, and Indonesia, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: the best memories are made off the beaten path. This ride through Korea is all about keeping things simple ; long days on the bike, fresh air, real Korean food, and good company. If you’re into sports, nature, and believe the journey matters just as much as the destination, we’ll get along just fine. I’ll take care of the route, help you discover the best local eats, and the rest is up to the road and the vibe we create together.

Type: Hotel, Guesthouse, B&B Room Type: Private rooms (single occupancy) in comfortable local guesthouses or hotels along the route. We’ll stay in hand-picked local accommodations each night. All rooms will be private, ensuring you have your own space to rest and recharge after each riding day.

Reiseverlauf
1

Seoul

Tag 1-2
We’ll land in Seoul and spend the first full day exploring the city at an easy pace. Expect temples, traditional neighborhoods, and vibrant street food markets. You’ll also get your rental bike fitted in the afternoon and prep your gear ready for the next day. Also our first dinner together to get to know each other!
2

Hanam-si

Tag 2-3
We begin our cycling adventure along the Ara West Sea Lock Gate and follow the Han River eastwards. It’s a smooth and scenic 73 km ride out of Seoul, finishing in Hanam where we rest and fuel up Korean-style.
3

Yeoju-si

Tag 3-4
Today we cycle 65 km through rural Korea, following the Namhan River into deeper countryside. Yeoju is a charming town known for its ceramics and peaceful vibe. We'll settle in for a well-earned rest and grab dinner at a local spot. Plenty of chances to chat, stretch, and enjoy the slower pace of life.
4

Chungju-si

Tag 4-5
A 62 km ride brings us to Chungju, a small lakeside city in the heart of Korea. The route features riverside paths and lush landscapes. After arriving, we’ll explore the city by foot and dive into the local cuisine. We’ll rest here before heading into the hillier stages of the trip.
5

Mungyeong-si

Tag 5-6
This 59 km ride takes us through the beautiful and historic Mungyeong Saejae Pass — once a key route for scholars and travelers. It's a physical challenge, but the views are well worth it. In the evening, we’ll relax in a quiet town setting and share a meal to celebrate conquering the climb.
6

Nakdong-myeon

Tag 6-7
We ride 72 km into quiet farmland and countryside, far from tourist zones. This day is about flow — long stretches of green, local villages, and total immersion. It’s a perfect stage to disconnect and reflect. We’ll stay somewhere rural and simple, and end the day with a cozy local dinner.
7

Daegu

Tag 7-8
After our longest day of riding — 83 km — we arrive in Daegu, Korea’s fourth-largest city. The energy shift is immediate. If we’re up for it, we’ll explore the city’s food markets and nightlife. Or simply recover with a hot shower and good rest. It's a transition day — from rural to urban
8

Angjin-ri

Tag 8-9
We leave the city behind and head back into nature. This 64 km ride features gentle terrain and river views. Angjin-ri is a quiet stop with not much around — perfect for slowing down, journaling, or chatting with the group over dinner. These are the quiet, special moments of the trip.
9

Hanam-eup

Tag 9
Another 64 km of peaceful cycling brings us close to the coast. Hanam-eup is our last rural night before reaching the ocean. We’ll share stories, review the journey, and prep mentally for our final ride. A great time to reflect and enjoy the calm before the final stage into Busan.
10

Busan

Tag 9-10
We ride 66 km to complete the Four Rivers Path — and arrive at the sea in Busan. Expect big smiles, group pictures, and a seafood dinner to celebrate. The next day is free to explore: beaches, temples, or markets. On the final morning, we say our goodbyes and head home with legs tired and hearts full.
11

Busan

Tag 10-11
The next full day is all about recovery and enjoyment: visit the famous Haeundae or Gwangalli beach, explore the Gamcheon Culture Village, soak in traditional jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), or just hang out with the group over good food and local street snacks. The next morning in Busan, the trip comes to an end. You’re free to head back, continue traveling, or just stay a little longer by the sea.
