I’m Josefina, 31 years old, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina — but Bahia stole my heart, and I’ve been living in Morro de São Paulo since 2020. During this time, I’ve explored Bahia from end to end, and now I can’t wait to share my favorite places with you. Think beaches, culture, hidden spots, good food, and that warm Bahian vibe that makes every day feel special. The first nights in Salvador begin with the perfect atmosphere: light, vibrant, and unforgettable. On the day of arrival, after resting, we head to Barra to enjoy an incredible sunset by the sea and a typical dinner to toast our first moments in Brazil. On the second day, it's time for sun, sea, and high energy! A schooner trip to the Ilha dos Frades and Itaparica islands, with a live samba band, tropical drinks, and stops in crystal-clear waters. In the late afternoon, those who wish can enjoy the charm of Santo Antônio Além do Carmo, with lively bars and spectacular views of the Bay of All Saints. Before continuing our journey, a quick tour of the historic center to see iconic landmarks such as the Lacerda Elevator and the Mercado Modelo. All this immersed in Afro-Brazilian culture, with plenty of music, history, and, of course, the famous cravinho (a type of clove) to complete the experience. Salvador is energy, flavor, and rhythm—and this is just the first part of the adventure.
