Are you ready to explore an absolute hidden gem spot? Maldives is an island nation in the Indian Ocean. What about the trip? Is a 5-6 days backpacking trip through multiple islands of Maldives. What type of activities will be covered along the trip? - Snorkeling, diving, sightseeing, beach walks, and MORE Who am I looking for? I am seeking for travel buddies in the age group 20-30 (flexible) who are ready to travel on a budget, relax and build friendships. The trip is intended to be a budget trip. I intend only 3-4 members in the team. I have already been to Maldives twice, once on a budget trip and another one on a luxury trip. What's included in the price? - Accommodation : (shared rooms, basic hotel/hostels) - Local Transportation costs - Trip planning cost and packing list Additional costs/ exclusions: - VISA cost (Maldives provides VISA on arrival for most nationalities) - Expenses for food - all food which is not included in the accommodation costs will be as per actuals - Souvenirs, shopping, etc. - Any medical costs (including travel insurance) - flight charges to and from Male (capital of Maldives). However, flight booking can be arranged for buddies from India for an additional fee. About me: Hello! Malé

Tag 1-2

The male is the Republic of Maldives' capital and most populous city. The Male island is located near the Velana International Airport, the main access point for travelers to this island nation. Things to do: city walks, rest stop after the inward flight, try out local cuisines. Accommodation type: Hotel

Ukulhas

Tag 2-4

Known for its cleanliness, it is also the first island in the Maldives to have a planned waste management system. Inhabited by little less than 1000 residents, Ukulhas appears as a pearl surrounded by turquoise waters. This is the first island I visited in Maldives back in 2019. It immediately caught my eye for the laid-back lifestyle of the people and the casual way of life. What to do: relax, go for a swim, snorkel etc.

Maafushi island

Tag 4-5

A bigger and busier island as compared to Ukulhas. More options for indulging in water sports. Being closer to Male and the Airport, this island sees pretty good tourist crowds in peak seasons. Accommodation type: Hotel/hostel

Hulhumale

Tag 5-6

Hulhumale is almost a twin city for the main island of Male. The main purpose of this stop is a safety day to adjust for climate-related contingencies before boarding our flight. The airport is accessible by road from here. Accommodation type: hotels in close proximity to the beach. Activities: Try out multiple food options, water sports, shopping for souvenirs, and other items.
