⚒️🇹🇩 Communist Romania Tour and National Day Concert with a Local 🔍📜

Growing up hearing stories of my family's experiences during the communist era, I've developed a fascination for the history and culture of ex-communist Romania. From the food shortages and suppressed freedoms, to the ultimate revolt that ended with the execution of ruler Ceaușescu, the era left a lasting impact on the country.🇹🇩 While today's Romania is a new and free capitalist nation🇪🇺, traces of the communist past remain, not only in the buildings that we still live in, but in the stories of the people who lived through it. Our trip will cover 3 important buildings to understand life under communism: ● 𝐂𝐞𝐚𝐮ș𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮'𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 (the house in which the ruler was living in with his family - a luxurious house, full of art and history) ● 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (to make the contrast between the ruler's lifestyle and the ordinary citizens' way of living) ● 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (second-largest building in the world, ordered by Ceaușescu) Also, because our trip occurs at the same time with 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚'𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲🇹🇩 (1st of December), we will also attend the 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢, that mixes traditional folklore with contemporary electronic and hip hop music.🎶 Here you can listen to one of my favorites from them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Suh3QEf1lgU Included in the price: ✔️ Accommodation (private room with private bathroom, near the center of the city) ✔️ Tickets to Ceaușescu's House, the communist apartment and the Palace of the Parliament ✔️ Tickets to Subcarpati concert Not included: ❌️ flight tickets ❌️ food&drinks ❌️ other activities We will have a guide for all of our objectives, and of course you will have me during the whole trip, to tell you more spicy stories😅, that have been passed onto me by my parents.
