Nick, 40, Swiss living in the Philippines Ive been travelling for most of my life for one reason or another and now am very lucky do do it with my wife and daughter. I love being able to take them to places I have been but also discover new things with them. I enjoy being outdoors, learning about history, and good food.
I had been working a number of desk jobs when I decided that being stuck in an office is not the life I want to live. I just came from a month long euro trip with my wife and daughter, and although it was not easy travelling with a young child, it is something that I want to do with them more often.
I am currently taking a break from work to spend more time with my daughter.
Motorcycles and Barbeques
I like to eat, so the first reason why I travel is to try the local food. I travel to see, do, and experience things particular to the country I am visiting to learn more about the world I live in and about myself. I travel to gain new perspective, and see things with eyes of wonder but also find new reasons to appreciate and be thankful for where I came from.
