Oei, that is a long list but will try to keep it short.. 🤭 After I graduated from my master's degree in urban and spatial planning I travelled around in Asia for 1,5 years. I came back to Belgium to work for 6 months to travel again. Once a wanderer, always a wanderer. But the pandemic changed my perfect lifestyle and I started working instead. In 2021 I created my own business and started importing silver jewellery from Jaipur in India. I sell the jewellery in my online shop: In the worlds jungle Shop and via Etsy (same name). I have a travel blog, In the worlds jungle, since 2019. It started as hobby and since 2023 I'm earning a bit of money with it so my focus is back on travelling and creating content... 😇 Next to being a travel blogger I also work as freelance chef in Belgium and the Netherlands. At the moment I'm studying Health & Safety to become an EHS advisor in the future and make a career switch. 🧙‍♀️ Since May 2023 I'm TripLeader at Join My Trip to take you around and show you how beautiful our planet is... 💚😍

Country? Borneo and India. I visited India 4 times and spend over 12 months in India. It's an incredible country, and yes, the first time will be culture shock but give it a chance. Two weeks is not enough to unwind and go with the Indian flow. Even for me it's a challenge the first few days I visit but it's all worth it once you get to know the people and exotic way of life. Drink? Belgian beers...🍺 Food? Indian, Israeli, Japanese, Thai, Chinese food & chocolate 🍱🫕 Interests? Painting, architecture, history and philosophy 🌇 Sports?: Running, swimming and yoga (not really a sport I know but I had to put it somewhere 😀)

I love to wander into the unknown. I did not visited that many countries compared to others travellers but I like to spend time in a country and usually stay as long my visa allows me to stay. The longer you stay in a region or country the more you learn about the local culture, customs, heritage, history and more.
