🌍 Adventurer at Heart | Sri Lanka Explorer 🌿 Greetings, I'm Vihanga Yapa, a passionate explorer who's found endless wonder right here in Sri Lanka. While my journey may have started close to home, I've hiked Sri Lanka's majestic mountains, wandered through its lush forests, and ventured into its vibrant culture. Each expedition is a discovery of hidden gems, from the emerald tea fields to serene waterfalls. I believe that adventure lies in every corner of our island paradise. I have been studying a lot and whenever I get a vacation me and my friends organize these awesome trips for Hikes or Sight seeing since Sri Lanka has a lot of places with diverse natural aspects. I have travelled and met a lot of people within my country and I really want to go abroad and meet new people.
I recently graduated as an Interior designer with a Higher National Diploma and I'm actively looking for a Job. When I was surfing in the web I came across Join My Trips and I'm excited to see what it has to offer for me!
For now my favorite travel destinations are Mountains/hills. Hiking or trekking is a tiring task but when you reach to the top of the mountain and see that view it makes the effort worth it. It's hard to describe as it is something you have to experience first hand.
I travel because it actually shows me something more than what I grew up with, it can be society or food or experiences or life itself. Whenever I travel it actually makes me feel alive, I guess travelling is what keeps me ticking.
