Über mich

If my story can serve as anything, I'd be it's okay to have my talents, many passions and to not limit ourselves as only one thing. For so long, I struggled to answer the question, PHOEBE, what do you do? Wrapping everything I do into one title was so darn difficult that my answer was often, It's complicated. But what I've learned is that it's okay to have more than one dream at a time. Being a creative makes me a phenomenal speaker. Having a background in Aviation and Aeronautical Engineering allows me to breakdown the time between take-off and touch down in a breathtaking way and to make travel memorable which in turn improves my storytelling either orally or written. You see, it's okay to have many talents. It's okay to be more than one thing. Don't let anyone put you in a box. Ever. I see you. All of you is welcome here.

I've been getting my degrees (Bachelors & Masters) both in Aerospace Engineering, Modelling part-time, Speaking and Coaching. I have travelled all around China especially throughout my modelling career and that has changed my perspective on life. The more I travel, the more parts of myself I discover along the way.
I'm currently working on my speaking and coaching business as I tap more into myself through yoga and meditation. I'm slowly curating the life of my dreams which includes learning to say no, doing what I've never done before, and going where I've never gone before so as to become the queen I was born to be.
So far my most memorable experience was when I travelled to Xiamen Island, Fujian Province in China, had intentionally left my laptop and ipad, and for about 72 hours, I had my phone on airplane mode. Best 72 hours of my life. I vividly remember the ice cream taste, trying to stuff it all in my mouth as it melted fast due to the summer temperatures, yoga by the beach, running in the rain and really being present in the moment. Being where my feet are. Disconnecting to Reconnect.
As I write my first book which will be published this December, I've come to the realisation that 99% of the time that I travel it's always been for work. A shoot here, a seminar there, a speaking engagement etc. The few times that I've travelled with the intention of savouring the experience, I often bring my work with me and when I don't, I kinda wish I did. As I get more intentional about curating the life of my dreams, I wanna travel just for the experience. No laptop, no zoom calls, no outward distractions. Intentionally disconnecting to Reconnect.
