Trip Itinerary

Madrid
Day 1-6
(Everyday we will walk or possibly take the city transport because everything is near each other in few minutes by walking...) Day 1 (Monday): After landing and settling down, we will have lunch somewhere in the Barrio de la Latina, probably eating a lot of local tapas. For the first night, I would like to show you the main squares in Madrid - Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Day 2 (Tuesday): Second day is all about traditional walking tour. The morning is free-time and after the lunch somewhere at Mercado de San Miguel, we will visit Palacio Real de Madrid and Catedral de la Almudena. Close by are magnificent Teatro Real on Plaza Oriente. Next stop is Plaza de Espana and Debod Temple - the Egyptian temple built in 2nd century BC. After all this, I think we deserve some resting, so we could go to the 360 rooftop bar with a beautiful all-around city view. Day 3 (Wednesday): The third day is all about shopping, but wait.. Firstly some obligatory stuff you won't regret - Fountain Cibeles, Madrid City Hall and Banco de Espana - buildings worth visiting. After that, last thing before shopping is the best rooftop in the city - Circulo de Bellas Artes (with the bar on the top). Of course, the main thing is - Gran Via - the shopping street with late night ending - watching the famous Flamenco show. Day 4 (Thursday): Day of rest is the fourth day when we could spend the hole day in a peaceful Parque de El Retiro, where the stunning Palacio de Cristal is located. But, I think we should also visit nearby Plaza Canovas and Prado museum or Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, which ever suits us better, both great altough. Close to the park, we will also walk next to the Puerta de Alcala and Plaza Colon. Lunch (or dinner) is reserved for Botin (the oldest restaurant in the world). Day 5 (Friday): For me, the most exciting day is this one. Beacuse of the stadium visit, of course. Santiago Bernabeu, the most demanding football place in the terms of crowd expectations, is the home of Real Madrid CF, the royal club in the world of football. No more words needed. Next to that, we have some time for Torres Kio - "Gate of Europe" and a walk through Paseo de la Castellana street. Lena restaurant is reserved for lunch or dinner. If you are interested, this is Friday night, so it means only one - night out. The exact place will stay the secret for now.
2
Valencia
Day 6
The sixth day, in the morning we will go by train to beautiful seaside city of Valencia for the hole day. Ride duration is 2 hours in each way. There we will have free time, resting, swimming, eating and optionally going on a hop-on hop-off bus tour through Valencia and its wonders. Comeback is sometime during evening hours.
3
Madrid
Day 6-7
The last day we will visit Plaza del Toros - Las Ventas (Bullring) and Museo Taurino de Madrid in Salamanca neighbourhood. It is the biggest and main bullfighting ring in Spain, opened in 1931. After that, we will have lunch before then, sadly, flight departure and saying goodbye.
