Trip Itinerary
1
Salt Lake City
Day 1
In the morning, we will meet at Salt Lake City airport. We will take a quick tour of the city before heading out for a 4.5 hour drive. On the way to Yellowstone Park we will visit Mesa Falls. We will spend a night in West Yellowstone, Montana.
2
Upper Mesa Falls
Day 1-2
At Upper Mesa Falls, a thunderous curtain of water – as tall as a 10-story building – pours over remnants of an ancient volcanic super-eruption. A mile south, Lower Mesa Falls repeats the performance, the river continually chiseling away at the solidified ash and lava. The beautiful Upper and Lower Mesa Falls are the last prominent waterfalls on the Snake River unaffected by manmade influences. A scenic walking path leads to excellent viewpoints.
3
Yellowstone National Park
Day 2-3
On Day 2 We will explore the northern loop of Yellowstone National Park, visiting Norris Geysers, Mammoth Hot Springs, waterfalls, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. We will spend the night in West Yellowstone, Montana or nearby.
4
Yellowstone National Park
Day 3-4
On Day 3 we will visit the southern loop of Yellowstone National Park, including the Geysers of Yellowstone, Grand Prismatic Spring and Old Faithful. We will spend the night in West Yellowstone, Montana or nearby.
5
Yellowstone Bear World
Day 4
On Day 4 we will visit Yellowstone Bear World on way back to Salt Lake city. Yellowstone Bear World is a wildlife park and attraction located in Rexburg, Idaho, near the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It offers visitors the opportunity to view and learn about various wildlife species, with a particular emphasis on bears. At Yellowstone Bear World, we will take a drive-through wildlife tour in our vehicle. The drive-through experience allows you to observe and photograph a range of North American wildlife in a natural setting. Along the route, you can encounter bears (including grizzly bears and black bears), wolves, bison, elk, deer, moose, and other animals native to the region. In addition to the drive-through tour, Yellowstone Bear World also features a walk-through area where you can interact with and observe different animals up close. This section includes exhibits with bear cubs, a petting zoo, and various educational presentations about wildlife and conservation. Yellowstone Bear World aims to educate visitors about bears and other wildlife species while promoting conservation and responsible coexistence with these animals. The facility emphasizes safety and provides guidelines to ensure the well-being of both visitors and the animals. It's worth noting that while Yellowstone Bear World offers an opportunity to see bears, it is a separate private attraction and not directly affiliated with Yellowstone National Park itself, which is a vast protected area spanning three states (Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho) and known for its geothermal features, wildlife, and natural beauty.
