Trip Itinerary
1
Amman
Day 1-2
Amman is the starting point for most tourists visiting Jordan, it’s Jordan’s capital city and a melting pot of cultural experiences. From traditional houses to luxurious five-stars hotels, Amman is a great place to explore. The day starts in the heart of Amman. Amman stretches on seven hills, also known as districts and The Rainbow Street is located in the Jebel Amman district. This place is famous for its restaurants, cafes and funky decorations.
2
Dead Sea
Day 2-3
We booked a four stars resort with private beach and pool. The Dead Sea is one of Jordan's top tourist attractions, but it's not just about floating in the water itself. It's a fascinating area to explore and within easy reach as a day trip from either Amman or the town of Madaba. We will be coast-driving the Dead Sea and visit the main spots while heading south to Petra.
3
Wadi Musa
Day 3
We will arrive supposedly in the late afternoon in Wadi Musa where a local experience is waiting for us: in the terrace of a rooftop restaurant (Winner of the award for the best choice of food and drink in the city of Petra) we will have dinner at sunset and charge our batteries for the following day!
4
Petra Visitor Center
Day 3-4
We will start our day at the visitor centre in the early morning and visit Petra and the other main spots during the whole day. Curiosity: Wadi Musa means "Valley of Moses" in Arabic. It is said that Moses passed through the valley and struck water from the rock for his followers at the site of Ain Musa ("Moses Spring" or "Moses' Well"). Wadi Musa was also nicknamed the "Guardian of Petra". The Tomb of Aaron, the traditional burial site of biblical Aaron, the brother of Moses, is on nearby Jebel Harun, a strong candidate for biblical Mount Hor.
5
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Day 4-6
Around the desert in a 4x4 car, experience Wadi Rum from great heights in one of our active hiking and climbing. Two overnight stay in the desert for the ultimate desert experience, eating in the bedouin camps.
6
Aqaba
Day 6-9
We will visit the city and enjoy the Red Sea. The usual snorkeling spaces are to the South of Aqaba towards Saudi Arabia and can be easily reached from the city as a day trip. The best spots include The Power Station; First Bay; Cedar Pride; Japanese Garden; Gorgonian I and II; Big Bay; The Aquarium and Golden Gardens.
