Ladies, get your passports ready and explore this beautiful region with me! We will meet in Baden-Baden Saturday at 9 in the morning and start our adventure. Baden-Baden can be reached easily by train. After getting to know each other, we explore the amazing ancient spa town. After lunch, we will cross borders and head to France for a short stop in the amazing town of Strasbourg. Afterwards, we will hop back on the car and drive to Colmar, a beautiful little fairy tale town, where we will check into our hotel for the night. We will take a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery in Colmar and have dinner together. Did you ever try “Tarte Flambee”? It is a unique dish from the region and it is so yummy! The next day after breakfast, we spend some more time in Colmar and explore the city from the water by taking a short boat trip on the river “Lauch”. After the boat trip we prepare to cross the border again and drive through beautiful Black Forest to a place called “Gutach” where you can explore how people lived in the area in former times and see the beautiful Black Forest homes. There is a summer toboggan run next to the place and it is great fun riding it, so we can do this afterwards if you want. After a short drive, we will start a little hike to the “Martinsteinhiesli”, a cute little place in the beautiful nature of Black Forest and you will have the opportunity to relax in a German beer garden. If we are early, we can even fit in one more stop at Gengenbach, a beautiful Black Forest village, before we head back to our starting point in Baden-Baden 39 minutes. Unfortunately it's time to say goodbye now. The trip is short, but full of interesting stops. You get the chance to enjoy quite a bit of the area., because driving with our own car, we can get around easily so we are not in a rush nevertheless. I made a reservation in a cute hotel in the center of town for two ensuite double rooms for you to share. If you prefer a single, that should be possible too, please ask and I see what I can do.
I am working as an architect, but my passion is planning trips and travelling. I am living at the northern tip of the black forest in Southern Germany together with my husband and my two teenage daughters, our dog and our cat. Baden-Baden
Day 1
We meet in Baden-Baden in the morning. After getting to know each other, we explore the amazing ancient spa town. You could either stroll around the pituresque cobblestone streets, talk a walk in beautiful Lichtentaler Allee, make an excursion in a horse carriage, visit Burda Museum or go shopping.

Strasbourg
Day 1
After lunch in Baden-Baden, we will cross borders and head to France visiting the amazing town of Strasbourg where we will take a walk in “Petite France”, see the famous covered bridges and the impressing Catedral. Afterwards, we will hop back on the car and I will drive you to Colmar, a beautiful little fairy tale town, where we will check into our hotel for the night. We will take a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery in Colmar and have dinner together. Did you ever try “Tarte Flambee”? It is a unique dish from the region and it is so yummy! The next day after breakfast, we spend some more time in Colmar and explore the city from the water by taking a short boat trip on the river “Lauch”.

Day 1-2

Black Forest
Day 2
After the boat trip in Colmar we prepare to cross the border again and drive through beautiful Black Forest to a place called “Gutach” where you can explore how people lived in the area in former times and see the beautiful Black Forest homes.
