Have you always dreamed of escaping to one of the most beautiful islands in the world 🏝️working under the palm trees 🌴 with a breathtaking view and amazing sunsets 🌅 living in a dream house right and the ocean 🌊 and hanging out with other cool like-minded digital nomads? So then, this is the perfect trip for you!

About me: I am Lia, 25 years old, originally from Munich and a real travel lover. I am currently studying in my 2nd semester of my master’s degree, Intercultural Management in Regensburg. Thanks to the flexible schedule and semester breaks, I have the privilege to work from wherever I want to, and I am fortunate to be able to combine my biggest passion with my studies. But since the "nomad lifestyle" and going on adventures trips is definitely more fun while being in good company, I am always on the “hunt” for new TripMates who like to join me on my travels and adventures.

Accommodation: We will stay in a spacious 4 bedroom, beautiful villa with access to the beachfront. Shared and single rooms are available. Please choose the correct trip for that - single and shared rooms. I will be writing my master thesis on this trip, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know other like-minded students or co-corkers 🤍

Zanzibar

Tag 1-2

Arriving day! We’ll all meet up at the accommodation and get to know each other better. After settling in, let’s enjoy our first dinner together in one of the restaurants close to the house. Please find your way to the villa on your own. However, if you need any support with the airport shuttle, please let me know!

Jambiani

Tag 2-4

This is our first co-working- day. Depending on your working hours, you can create the day individually for you. One main advantage of working remotely in Zanzibar is the time zone (GMT +3) so for people from Europe it’s quite convenient.

Stone Town

Tag 4-5

Let’s explore the oldest quarter of Zanzibar together on our first weekend. If you are flexible with work and if you want to take the weekend off, you can join the day trip to the West Coast, where we’ll learn some more about the ancient culture of Zanzibar. We will most certainly have a driver for the day.

Tag 5-6

During the week, everyone will be mainly working. However, in the afternoon we can of course explore more spots of the islands since it is surrounded by beautiful beaches and nature. Uber is a great option to get around the island, and so are scooters.

Jambiani

Tag 6-7

Why not preparing a nice supper? Let’s go to the local market together and cook some delicious food in the evening. We have a beautiful terrace where we can dine and have some quality time all together with a glass of wine or beer.

Menai Bay

Tag 7-8

Our last weekend can be either spent in the group, or you can also take some time off and explore the island on your own. I suggest to check out the stunning Menai bay, go on a snorkeling tour or to one of the national parks and maybe even participate in a cooking class. We can discuss further options later.

Zanzibar

Tag 8

Time runs fast and time to say goodbye.. we’ll almost! Let’s have a delicious breakfast on our last day in one of the hip cafés together before everyone finds their way to the airport. I bet was an amazing trip! See you soon!
