On this 11 day workation, we will be accommodated in a beautiful and spacious house located in Vlychada Beach. We will be staying in a complex of small houses around a beautifull outer space with living area and a big swimming pool. The beach is 3-minute walking and you can have a swim daily on the lunar landscape of the volcanic material. 👉 The accommodation is super spacious, with fast and stable wifi, offering ideal conditions for professional remote workers and digital nomads to work properly and uninterrupted, while being on a trip to one of the world's most wanted destinations! ✔ Except from our base where we will be able to work during the day, we will have the chance to ◽ tour around the island, ◽ enjoy the world- known sunset of Oia, ◽ observe the underwater environment through a glass-bottom boat tour to the core of the volcano, ◽ visit local wineries and try the wines, ◽ hike on an easy trail at the inner site of the caldera and ◽ visit the Pre-historic excavations of Thera. ✨ But the most interesting experience will be the traditional fests of the Orthodox Easter. During our stay (Sunday 5th May) is the Greek Easter – the biggest religious holiday of the country. 🕯 Amazing festive activities begin on Friday, with candles decorating all the alleys of the villages. Saturday is fireworks all over the island. The peak is on with the traditional Easter Lunch, the absolute food experience lasting all day (basically you eat till you drop!) 😊 So, should we try all those new experiences together? Hello everyone, I am Kelly! I was born and raised in Athens - Greece. I work as a digital marketing expert but I am also a meditation instructor. I travel a lot since I can remember myself with my main focus to discover ancient natural healing techniques and secrets from each culture. I work seasonal (April – October) in the popular island of Santorini since 2016. I have been organizing cultural events and shows, highlighting the unique character of this inhabitable volcano! I absolutely love this place and I know all the hidden gems and the alternative, non-touristic things for a visitor to enjoy. I decided to host this amazing co-working trip to Santorini for all of those who not only want to discover the island, but want to get deeper insight to the local tradition, try the Mediterranean cuisine, have a taste of locally produced wines and spend ten days to this “have to visit” destination. I have a nice itinerary in mind, that we can all choose what we do and which day!
Seperate houses around the swimming pool! Houses have one or two bedrooms, private bathroom and kitchen. We share the bedrooms (two people share a "one-bedroom house" - 4 people share a "two-bedroom house"), but of course you can choose to book the entire room just for you at an extra cost. Day 1: Saturday. (transfer included). Check in the spacius accommodation at 14:00. No need to worry about pic up services, since everybody will be picked up from the airport or the port. (you can arrive to the island either by plane or Ferry boat- don’t hesitate to contact me for more info) After we all settle in, we go for dinner to a beautiful small fish tavern in the area. A fisherman has this very small place where his mother cooks the daily catch!

Day 2: Sunday / (optional) Cruise to the center of the volcano, the Hot Springs and Thirasia island. The absolute volcanic experience! At 10:45 we will begin our tour on a glass-bottom boat. We will stay at the active crater for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We will walk up to the volcano (20 minutes) through a walkable path. It is worth to reach the top because when you arrive there, if you scratch the surface you will see steam coming out, smell the sulphur and also take pictures. After, the boat continues to the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. Swim to the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni for which are believed to have beneficial abilities for the skin and other diseases. In continuation of the tour, the boat sails to the island of Thirassia. We will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters or eating in traditional taverns . We can go on foot in the village of Manolas, which is very picturesque with narrow streets and nice view to Santorini. After the 2 hour pleasant break on the island of Thirassia, we start to return back to the old port sailing near the volcanic cliffs of Oia to take pictures of the unique scenery. The disembarkation back in Santorini is at 16:15.

Day 3: Monday / (optional). Since it is a co-working trip, you will have your own time during the day to work. We can have some activities in the afternoon, when we could visit the most important prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. I propose that we visit the excavation site, which has been maintained just like Pompei.

Oia
Tag 11
Day 5: Wednesday. (optional). Another working week-day, but later we are going volcano hiking! The route is from Fira (the capital) to Oia (the famous village). It is a 45-minute walk on an easy trail at the inner side of the caldera – literally walking inside the volcano! On our arrival to Oia, I will get you to a nice spot so we can enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Tonight is a nice oportunity to have dinner in Oia.

Day 8: Saturday. (optional). Today is the second festive day of traditional Easter and you should definately join me to Fira to celebrate the Resurrection as Greeks do! At 23:30 we will arrive to an amazing small church at the inner side of the caldera., viewing the volcano. At 00:00 we will see the fireworks show running through the island. After that, we will enjoy a night out in Fira, where all the clubs and bars are located. This particular night, everyone is out – so be prepared for socializing!

Kamari beach

Day 9: Sunday. (lunch & transfer included). Today is Easter day. And what all Greeks do is eating… All day eating is literally what happens! So we will go to a nice traditional taverna at the beautiful village of Kamari and enjoy local delicacies of the day. We will break the eggs and participate in more local customs. !!! When we are no longer able to walk from the food, if you feel you need it we can go to a cafeteria nearby and digest!!!
