Rome is one of my favourite cities ever. The Eternal City is the capital of Italy, and one of the most popular tourist destination in the world for all those interested in art, history and good food. From the ancient Colosseum to the majestic Vatican, or from the cobbled streets to Trastevere to the panoramic views of Villa Borghese, there is so much beauty and variety to discover in Rome. Let's explore the beautiful city in a weekend! Temperatures are around 20° and there are not all the tourists you get in the summer. What is included in the price? - Accommodation shared room in my apartment - public transport including buses and trams Not included - museums entrance as prices vary depending on your age, if you're a student or EU national. Usually between €5-20 - food and drinks This will be a weekend in a city where we'll explore the city in the daytime and go to the most famous places, have aperitivo dinner and drinks in a cocktail bar at night! Rome

Tag 1-4

The closest airport is Ciampino but there are more flights to Fiumicino. From the airport you can take the train to Rome central station or a booked shuttle. Depending on what time you arrive we'll go to major sites and then have dinner and drinks. I cannot pick up everyone from the train station but will do my best.

Colosseo

While in Rome, you can’t miss visiting the world’s largest amphitheatre. Built during the Flavian Dynasty 70–80 AD, the Colosseum was the site of gladiatorial battles, ceremonies and theatrical re-enactments in ancient Rome. After touring the Colosseum, we'll head over to the Roman Forum to admire ruins that remain from ancient Rome. The centre of daily life thousands of years ago, the Roman Forum has several temples, basilicas and monuments; it also comprises Palatine Hill, where the city of Rome is thought to be founded.

Centro Storico

Amazing art and architecture lie around every corner in Rome, so the best way to see the city is on foot. We will take a stroll through the Centro Storico, or historic centre, to see iconic sights like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna – all located within close walking distance from one another. We won't miss two of the city’s most famous piazzas, Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori, which are buzzing at all hours of the day. If you need a pick-me-up during your walk, we will stop by Caffé Roscioli for the city’s best coffee or the nearby Forno Roscioli for some pizza al taglio (by the slice) and a selection of freshly baked pastries.
