Starting in Vientiane, Laos and working our way in a clockwise manner through Laos, the north of Vietnam and then Cambodia, ending in Phnom Penh, we will discover the unconventional, untouched and yet stunning areas of South East Asia. 7 days Laos, 12 days Vietnam, 4 days Cambodia, which works out well because Vietnam is visa free for a lot of European countries if you stay less than 15 days! (But check your countries entrance requirements beforehand) See itinerary below. Our accommodation: This trip will be a bit of everything, staying in affordable boutique hotels (mostly in Laos), cheap fun hostels (mostly in Vietnam) and 5* luxurious resorts (mostly in Cambodia). Note that most of the accommodation will also have swimming pools for use, and some will have fitness centers. But the best part is they are all very affordable, and you get so much for your money. Please note, there will also be 1/2 nights travelling on a night bus. Overall, it's an intense, yet action packed and meticulously planned trip that I have spent months planning :) About me: My name is Ameer, and I have traveled extensively. I am still currently a student, studying Medicine, and so I plan all my travel trips during the holidays that I have. The price includes: - Accommodation (mostly twin rooms but other options can be arranged) - 4 day Ha Giang loop tour with an external company - 2 day Ha Long bay luxury cruise - Vang Vieng activities - Transfers to and from each city/town Excluded: - International flights - Local flights (of which there are 3) at an estimated total price of £300 GBP. I can book this either guide you in booking these or I can book them for you. - Food - Other personal expenses like shopping/souvenirs (I personally am flying in and out of Bangkok, Thailand because the international flights usually work out cheaper!) NOTE: if there is only a specific part of the trip you would like to join for, please message me.

Bangkok

Tag 1-2
The capital of Cambodia. We will be able to learn about the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge and how Cambodias past has shaped its future. The accommodation is a 5* boutique hotel overlooking the grand palace. The trip will end in Phnom Penh.
2

Vientiane

Tag 2-4
Discover the capital city of this unknown country. We will spend 2 nights here at a beautfiul 5* hotel with a pool. We will explore the markets, the war history and the buddha park. Onwards we will then take the recently developed, Chinese built speed-trains to Vang Vieng.
3

Vang Vieng

Tag 4-6
The adventure capital of Laos. There is so much to do here, including hot air balloons, 6 blue lagoons and tubing down the river. The accommodation in Vang Vieng is a boutique hotel resort with a pool. We will then head to Luang Prabang via the same train that we came to Vang Vieng.
4

Luang Prabang

Tag 6-7
1 night in the most well known place in Laos, full of luxurious hotels, so it is only fitting the accommodation is also 5* luxury with a pool. From Luang Prabang we will go to Nong Khiaw, a small town further north, but we will return to Luang Prabang.
5

Nong Khiaw

Tag 7-8
The small, calm town of Nong Khiaw. A mystery unknown to many. Famous for its outstanding viewpoint which creates a movie-like picture during sunset and sunrise. The accommodation here is more simple, as there are no luxury hotels in this town! We will stay in a floating house on the river, which also functions as a pool. Then we return to Luang Prabang.
6

Luang Prabang

Tag 8-9
Staying at the same 5* hotel (which may be useful to leave your stuff during the Nong Khiaw trip) in Luang Prabang. We will also explore the famous and memorizing Kuang Si waterfalls, where you can also take a dip. From Luang Prabang, we will then take a flight to Hanoi, Vietnam.
7

Hanoi

Tag 9-11
Staying at a boutique hotel, we will have 1 night and 2 days in Hanoi to explore the city, including the famous train track where you can get take your Instagram photos! The second night will be spent on a night bus from Hanoi to Sa Pa in the north of Vietnam. These are buses which have fully flat beds to allow passengers to sleep.
8

Sa Pa

Tag 11-12
Here we will be staying at a luxury 5* ecolodge located on top of the rice fields with an 'infinity' pool to give a stunning view of Sa Pa. After Sa Pa, we head to Ha Giang via bus to reach Ha Giang in the night.
9

Ha Giang

Tag 12-16
We will spend 1 night in Ha Giang town at a hostel to rest for the next 4 days. The hostel also arranges the Ha Giang loop bike tours, which will be 4 days and 3 nights, accommodation in hostels and food all included. But don't worry if you do not feel comfortable riding a bike yourself, you can pay extra and sit on the back of a local's bike to still enjoy the views and experience. From Ha Giang we will travel by bus to Hanoi.
10

Hanoi

Tag 16-18
Reaching Hanoi in the middle of the night (unfortunately due to the bus system), we will rest and stay for 2 more nights (but 1 day) in Hanoi to explore anything left over on our attractions list! The next morning, we will be collected by the cruise company and taken to Ha Long bay.
11

Hạ Long Bay

Tag 18-19
2 days, 1 night on the luxury 4* cruise. Here you will be able to marvel at the famous and surreal Ha Long bay, swim in the bay, go kayaking, do Tai chi and eat traditional Vietnamese food. (All these activities and food is included in the cruise experience).
12

Ninh Bình

Tag 19-21
From Ha Long bay, we will go to the quaint town of Ninh Binh, 1 hour south of Hanoi. This relaxed, serene town will provide some rest from the intense week. The accommodation is in a very nice hostel with a pool, but the rooms are private (but dorms are also available).
13

Hanoi

Tag 21
After Ninh Binh, we will return to Hanoi with good time to head to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap departing around 14:00. The bus journey will only take a maximum of 2 hours. A quick stopover for lunch is also possible.
14

Krong Siem Reap

Tag 21-23
Siem Reap, home to the famous, iconic Angkor Wat temple complex. This is my favorite accommodation on the trip - a 5* luxurious resort with beautiful rooms and a beautiful pool area to relax in. Local guided tours can be arranged in the city.
15

Phnom Penh

Tag 23-25
The capital of Cambodia. We will be able to learn about the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge and how Cambodias past has shaped its future. The accommodation is a 5* boutique hotel overlooking the grand palace. The trip will end in Phnom Penh.
16

Bangkok

Tag 25-26
The capital of Cambodia. We will be able to learn about the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge and how Cambodias past has shaped its future. The accommodation is a 5* boutique hotel overlooking the grand palace. The trip will end in Phnom Penh.
