From the vibrant cities of Europe to Australians whitest beaches, my travels have taken me to some of the most beautiful and remote corners of the Earth. 🌍 Get ready to explore the best of Tuscany on a tour that will take you to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano, and the Chianti wine region 🍷. You'll see some of the most beautiful spots in Italy, and experience the culture and history of the Late Medieval and Renaissance periods up close. 🤌 In Florence, you'll be blown away by the stunning art and architecture of the Renaissance, like the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, and the Ponte Vecchio. Lucca is up next, a picturesque city surrounded by ancient walls that you just can't miss. You'll be amazed by its cathedral and its charming streets. Afterward, we will go to the iconic city of Pisa, home to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we'll head to San Gimignano, which has a skyline full of medieval towers, where you can wander its narrow streets and admire the lovely piazzas. Following, we'll head to Siena, where we'll visit Piazza del Campo where the Palio di Siena horse race takes place, and check out the Duomo. Last but not least, we'll venture into the breathtaking Chianti wine region, famous for its vineyards, rolling hills, and great wine. You'll get to taste some of the finest wines of the area, visit charming hilltop towns, and enjoy the stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Florence

Tag 1-4
On our first day, I will try to pick you up from the airport and head straight to our accommodation. Depending on your arrival time we can already start visiting the city. With 2 days at our disposal, we can visit the most important attractions Florence has to offer. In Florence we will be visiting: - Palazzo Vecchio, a beautiful palace located in Piazza della Signoria. This palace was built in the 14th century and served as the seat of government for the Republic of Florence. - The Uffizi Gallery, one of the most famous museums in the world. This museum houses a vast collection of Renaissance art, including works by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. - Duomo di Firenze (Florence Cathedral) - A stunning cathedral with a distinctive red dome that dominates the skyline of Florence. - Ponte Vecchio - A historic bridge that spans the Arno River and is lined with jewelry shops. - Palazzo Pitti - A grand palace that was once the residence of the powerful Medici family. - Boboli Gardens - A beautiful park located behind the Palazzo Pitti that features a variety of sculptures, fountains, and manicured gardens. - Basilica di Santa Croce - A beautiful church that houses the tombs of many important figures from Florentine history, including Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. At the end of the first day together, we will have an aperitivo together to enjoy some nice food while getting to know each other better.

Province of Lucca

Tag 4
On the morning of the third day, we will drive to Lucca and visit this important city. More specifically, we will walk around the small historical center and visit: - The Lucca Cathedral - A beautiful cathedral located in the heart of Lucca - The Guinigi Tower - A tower with a unique feature - a garden on its roof. - The Piazza dell'Anfiteatro - A charming oval-shaped square that was once a Roman amphitheater. Today, it is lined with cafes and shops. In the afternoon, we will head to Pisa, which is a short drive from Lucca.

Province of Pisa

Tag 4-5
In Pisa, we will have the chance to see one of the most famous towers in the world, the leaning tower of Pisa. Moreover, we will go to the Pisa Cathedral, a beautiful cathedral located near the Leaning Tower that dates back to the 11th century. And Piazza dei Miracoli, a large square that is home to the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and several other important buildings.

San Gimignano

Tag 5-6
In the morning, we will head toward San Gimignano. It is a small town located in the heart of Tuscany, known for its medieval architecture, towers, and wine. Here we will be able to admire the Piazza della Cisterna - a picturesque square in the center of the town, surrounded by historic buildings and characterized by its cistern in the middle. The Torre Grossa, the tallest tower in San Gimignano, offers stunning views of the town and the surrounding countryside from the top, and the Duomo di San Gimignano, a 12th-century Romanesque church with impressive frescoes and artworks. We will also be able to relax in nature and visit the countryside.

Province of Siena

Tag 6
After spending one night in San Gimignano, we will head to Siena. Here we will visit the iconic Piazza del Campo, the central square of Siena and one of the most famous in Italy. It is known for its unique shell shape and hosts the annual Palio di Siena horse race. the Siena Cathedral, a stunning Gothic cathedral located in the heart of Siena. And the Palazzo Pubblico, a beautiful palace that has served as the seat of government in Siena for centuries. In the afternoon we will move north towards the Chianti region.

Chianti

Tag 6-7
The Chianti region is a picturesque area in Tuscany, known for its rolling hills, medieval villages, and world-famous wine. The region produces some of Italy's best-known wines, including Chianti Classico and Sangiovese, which are made from locally grown grapes. Visitors to the Chianti region can explore charming towns and enjoy the stunning views of vineyards and olive groves that stretch out across the landscape. Here we will stay in a comfortable and relaxing accommodation in the countryside and have an unforgettable wine tasting.

Metropolitan City of Florence

Tag 7
On our last day, we will say farewell to the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany as we drive back to Florence. Although we'll be parting ways for now, our memories of the stunning countryside, the delicious cuisine, and the warmth of the people we met will stay with us for a long time. It won't be a goodbye, but a see you again - until our paths cross again.✌️
